This is a goofy looking watch and quite big at 46mm, but I've seen it irl in Japan and tried it on and it's actually pretty cool and interesting. There's 2 other CWs but this one is the best. It has also reached a price that's a f it yolo impulse buy.

Honestly I'm giving up on Seiko autos they are inaccurate and frustrating to deal with.
Will stick to Grand Seiko and Swiss watches for autos.

I've found most of my Seikos to be +/- <10s. Last Swiss I got with a SW200 is +25s
@rosebank: Me and my mate both bought a 6r series and both gain around 30 minutes a month on an auto winder.
All my Swiss are max 1 to 2 minutes plus or minus every 3 months
In saying that apart from my oris all are cosc
@maverickjohn: Fair enough. I mostly buy solar or quartz these days, and don't really wear my autos enough to care too much about accuracy. I wear a fitness band 90% of the time
@rosebank: I have a problem with solar. My solar Seiko has stopped working and no matter how much exposure to light it won't recharge.
It made me lose hope in buying another solar. In saying that I know my experience is not the normal circumstances for these solar watches.

@maverickjohn: What's the history of your Seiko solar. How old is it? Did you store it in the dark for long periods of time?
@WatchNerd: Nope I always have it out. It's sitting in my watch box normally. But I tried charging it by ambient light from window and even direct light on my car's windscreen nothing ever charged it. So it's pretty much dead.
It's 8 years old now but stopped working 5 years ago I just have because I liked it but it's a dead weight
