How long will the glass remain transparent?

    • +3

just as long as you looking through it

I have the kogan one, It still transparent after 3+ years, it just change colour

  • I've got this style of air fryer at home. Used it a few dozen times now. Works well and glass is still crystal clear.

How hard is the glass to clean?

      • This one is very easy to clean - just pop it in a dishwasher.

        • So I have to pop in dishwasher after every use?

          • +1

@Mokr: Up to you depending on your tolerances to it being clean

Protip: use these and it will not often need to be cleaned: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0BWYV7FCM

The glass is very easy to clean in any case.

        • Those things defeat the purpose of the air fryer's cooking method.

In addition you lose all the benefits of glass by adding silicone to your food.

  • I've been looking to get rid of my non stick air fryer but doesn't glass go against the rule of not putting glass in while its preheating?

Can't help but wonder how well it will work without air holes in base of glass vessel given rapid air circulation is one of main reasons air fryers work
    .

    • hmmm i am looking at other metal airfryer, the vent holes are around the plastic casing, the metal cooking bowl still no holes in them?

      air circulation under the tray?

      • +1

Phillips has a removable mesh base to the basket allowing top to bottom air flow (fan is above basket)
        .

        • hmmm so is this one? i dont own an airfryer so i dont know what should be included , from picture i see a metal mesh there

          • @huu: So it does. Might be ok then….
To be clear, the basket of Phillips doesn't have a solid base at all, only the removable mesh piece. Would this glass one hold water?
And what is made of and coated with?
            .

Seems exy compared to their 12l version that also includes a rotisserie function $119 on Amazon (cheaper elsewhere)

    • Can anyone confirm that the transparent window is indeed glass not plastic?? Sorry if this is a silly question

      • Has to be glass.

    • That's basically all plastic except a small glass window

      • No it's not - it's steel lined. Plastic is on the outside. Just like this deal version has plastic on the outside. Anyway, you don't cook on the surfaces - you would normally use the tray or rotisserie etc….

  • I got this from Amazon a few weeks back and have been using it a lot. It’s worked out really well so far. 😎

  • thanks OP great listing, never thought these existed (i.e. sans the cancer coatings).

  • It appears to me 109.95 to me.

    • look like deal expired

If you missed this deal, mydeal is cheaper at $79 with FRENZY code.
