    Your delivery alone cost $350 to Brisbane. So the difference is quite substantial especially on U1J.

    people want to get rid of them but too bulky to charge for, so there's a "if you can transport it you can have it" kind of attitude

    • Maybe, but many of those free pianos are being neglected and not having any service for a long time. You need to know what to look before decided to spend the effort to move it.

      • Yeah, nah. Just pay a couple hundreds for a professional to tune and it will be as good as new. These things are built to last unless you leave them out to the elements.

    These pianos have gone up a lot since pre-covid. U1J was $6.2k delivered in 2019.
    Note that the U1J for the Australian market is made in Indonesia, not Japan. Not sure how much it matters, but just be aware.
