I was waiting for that price too but I needed this to play the spider man 2 game haha
I managed to score the Arc with this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/765698
the cashback stack with the 20% discount is what sold me, plus at that time they were giving you Store credit for pretty much any purchases over a specified amount as well.(I think nowadays they only give you store credit in certain circumstances that don't play nice with CashRewards.)
Might be better sales available on BF but this is still good.
I was so fortunate I was provided a 40% off coupon code by a stranger last time and bought an arc + 2x era 300.
I'm cross shopping with the new Bose Smart Ultra, if there is a chance of a discount at all for the new model.
How is it compared to the Arc?
I got both, Arc is miles ahead, but yes i got Sonos sub as well
Second this. I got Arc first, then bought 900 from Amazon Crazy Deal, agreed that Arc performed much better in Atmos, plus the HDMI connection works better than Bose. I do not need to reset Arc once but did many times with the Bose. However, Bose is still a great bar. If you can get it significantly cheap, go for it.
This discount also works on the new Era 100 & Era 300 speakers
And the recently released Move 2 (still overpriced imo)
Yamaha released a very good rival the True X 50
It comes with a sub and is priced similarly to the arc standaloneAs mentioned by Bens above, this seems to apply to just about ANYTHING from Sonos on the website!
Just picked up two Era 300's for $600 each (plus 2% cashback on Cash Rewards).
Shipping only $7 too, not too shabby.I bought the Arc immersive setup (sub + L R One SL) and I've got to say I'm quite disappointed in the sound coming from the Arc, particularly the voices. They sound so tinny with no body. Also, if you don't have an iOS device, you can't do smart calibration. But then again I have nothing to compare it to.
I just got JBHifi online chat to match the price on a Sonos ERA 300 for $599.20.
I thought they'd straight refuse given it was a click frenzy code, even if they are the same company essentially.
Listened to these at costco, sounds muffled tbh. Dunno how people are forking out 1k for these.
Costco would likely not be a very ideal environment, let alone the unit tuned or prime example, to benchmark it.
Used this code for an Era 100 been hanging out for a while to get one - thanks OP
Good discount, but I'm personally still waiting for a $10xx deal (or less); like a few months ago @ $1035
