Made with just one ingredient, kangaroo liver, these treats are a healthy and delicious way to spoil your furry friend. They're high in protein and omega-3 fatty acids, and they're low in fat and calories. Plus, they're perfect for dogs with allergies or sensitivities.

Here are some of the benefits of air-drying dog treats:
• Preserves nutrients: Air drying is a gentle process that does not damage the nutrients in food.
• Reduces size and weight: Air drying removes moisture from food, which reduces its size and weight. This makes it easier to store and transport.
• Makes food shelf-stable: Air drying removes moisture from food, which inhibits the growth of bacteria and mold. This makes the food shelf-stable, meaning that it can be stored without refrigeration or freezing.

Air drying removes moisture from the liver, which reduces its weight. However, the liver still retains its nutrients, so 100g of air-dried liver is about as nutritious as 300g of raw liver.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to give your dog a taste of the best. Order your bag of kangaroo liver treats today!

  • Mmmm Kangaroo Liver 👌🏻

  • suitable for cats?

    • +1

Yes, Kangaroo liver is all a healthy treat for cats/

    • -4

      suitable for cats?

      They are clearly for kangaroos…

  • Or just get 1kg of Schmackos for $19.00 @ The Reject Shop.

    • Hi, What type of meat do you eat?

      • @WatchNerd lives on Twiggy sticks… Why?

    • I wouldn’t eat kangaroo dog treats not fit for humans are they not?

    • I got the big bag of schmackos for $10 the other week at Coles

      • +4

I got a cardboard box free at bunnings the other day

        • +1

Haha sassy. Take the higher road if you're a rep 😅

    • +4

To be fair id expect these mass produced snacks to have a lot of fillers and flavouring added to make them taste good. Not exactly comparable to pure meat/animal.

    • +4

Quite a bit different. Schmackos are more of a junk food. Made from unspecified meats (likely meal), sugar, humectant, preservatives etc.

  • +3

$30/kg for offal that is obtained free(?) from culled animals?
..or are these kangaroos sustainably farm bread specifically for this purpose?
You are aware of the price of spring lamb, right?

  • +2

This dehydrated treat is like jerky 3kg of raw liver produces about 1kg of treats.

I'm unsure of the costs to harvest the liver but is does cos to purchase it from the butcher and dry it. Have you compared the cost of Kangaroo to other meats?

Kangaroo is sustainable protein for a number of reasons:

*Kangaroos are wild animals and do not need to be farmed. This means that there is no need to clear land for farming or to use resources such as water and feed.
*Kangaroos have a low environmental impact. They are herbivores and do not produce methane, a greenhouse gas that is more potent than carbon dioxide. *Kangaroos also have soft feet, which helps to prevent soil erosion.
*Kangaroo populations are managed by the Australian government. This means that only a certain number of kangaroos are harvested each year, ensuring that the population remains sustainable.

No I'm not aware of the cost of lamb what has that got to do with Kangaroo?

    • +1

*Kangaroos are wild animals and do not need to be farmed.

Also means that can't be killed humanely…

      • Ha???

    • Spring lamb is less than $60/kg
      that is the point

  • +2

I do get less mass produced, with better ingredients will cost more, so not really talking about that…

    100g $3 $6
    250g $8 $12
    500g $16 $22

But that pricing makes no sense. Why is the 500g pack more expensive per kg than the 100g?

    • -3

The free postage on a spend over $55, the postage cost would create a loss with the larger bags.

      • +2

        Definitely still a tad weird.

This place is a bit hostile to more expensive products too. You may be better off with farmers markets, or other healthy/premium 'marketplaces'.

  • It is an introductory sale to motivate trial off the product, I can only offer a limited amount at the sale price

    • +6

It's a weird sale where the price for 100g works out cheaper (per 100g) than buying the 250g or 500g pack.

Also shipping is $8.00 for 100g so that kills the deal. No bargain here, neg.

  • So it's cheaper to buy 100g?

  • Can i make a pate from this?
i wonder if anyone has tried

  • I got a few bags of some other treats from the last deal and the mutt likes them.
Tempted to get on this deal but OPs attitude is making me think twice.
Pull ya head in mate, there are always going to be jerks on here, you'll need to rise above it if you're going to succeed in retail and sales.

  • 👎 Shame for selling kangaroo food.
