Not sure if this is the correct forum but I'm sure keen Ozbargainers will set me straight. I've noticed recently that Cashrewards and Shopback have stopped offering upsized (15%+) cash back at stores such as First Choice, Liquorland, and BWS. Is it just me, or has there been some sort of crackdown? I know there are rules around discounting alcohol etc but wodering whether the good old days are gone for good?

It's been a few weeks now. They used to be several times a week, now nothing. It's quite a change.
I wouldn't be expecting anything from Coles in the future. Plus we drained a lot of money out of BWS due to their coupon glitch.

I've noticed this too. It's usually several a week. I've been hitting up liquor land in the lower socioeconomic area of my town and usually clean up a minimum 50 percent off pack of craf beer. I'm hoping the cashback dream isn't over.
So it's not just me! Surely there is some Ozbargainer who has a cousin who's friend knows a guy that dated the CEO of the marketing firm that reports to the Board of the advisory firm who first suggested such things who could tellus…Don't leave me hangin' Bro!
I guess there were some on select products. I'll be cutting back significantly with no discounts I reckon.
I have been sweating on the offers. Next time I had better stock up more than usual next time.
Wish I knew why the discounts stopped. sounds like a few of us had a good run on buying 10-20% cashback booze up until recently. anyone know of any discount booze (or whisky) alternatives?
