303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating 709ml $38.49 C&C/ in-Store Only @ Supercheap Auto

110

Cheapest price for this right now. Usually retails for around $50. Probably the cheapest for a graphene coating which lasts a year? Correct me if I'm wrong. This one is apparently really easy to apply and can be done in sunlight with hot panels.

UPDATE:
Same price at Amazon

The graphene detailer is also on sale for $28.

    Huh? How much?!

Not sure it'll last 12mnths tbh. I've purchased the kit below, which lasted 12mnths and allowed for 2 treatments. Worth the investment of a good kit, if you want to do it properly. (Clay bar and ceramic coat)

    • I've used it on 2 cars. Lasted 12 months but it's now actually been 24 months since I did it. I'm planning to give both cars a good polish over Xmas and reapply it then. Still with the same bottle I used originally.

      • When you use these coating products, what do you use to wash your car to not damage the coat?

        • +1

Damage the coat? Your problem is going to be how to remove it if you overapply. It's almost impossible to remove without stripping the clearcoat.

I snowblow and then follow it with a good wash and wax using a microfibre mitt. Then Bowden's big sucker to dry it off.

@Hipsi: Pretty much the same as you, however I use a Big Boi air dryer to finish the job.

Use a pH neutral wash, two bucket method and foam if you have a cannon for extra lubricity.

    • I tried Autoglym and tbh, I would have had better luck using Olive Oil. What a rubbish product, again IMO

Who would have thought the humble HB pencil wound have so many game changing uses hey.

  • A lot of people have been injecting themselves with this stuff. A lot. Might have to give it a try!

      OK Ian Crossland.

  • So if this is not wax product can I apply spary wax first then apply this product?

    • +1

You could but it may not adhere properly to the wax layer and will probably work better on bare paint.
You probably won’t even need the wax to be honest as this product should increase the shine and protect.

    • You would use this then the wax coating

TLDR: Lasted the 10 weeks in the above test however Bowdens Bead Machine appears to perform better.
Bowdens $28 at Repco however only 500ml compared to the larger size of the 303.

  • Amazon is same price.

  • How is this different to the Armour all stuff?

  • +2

Amour All is rubbish compared to this product. Please tell me you know this already…

    • -1

And never use the armourall vinyl and plastic products

  • Is this the best cheapest item to protect your car paint?

  • Ngl
    This stuff barely lasts
Maybe like a month or 2 for me
