You've just described my exact experience too. I got Civ 5 in a Bundle…7 years ago or something, for like $20 for the full version with every expansion, and have played so much that each hour has probably only cost me 0.001 cents.
Could master a craft with 3800hrs!
Is Civ 5 not a craft?
So you are only a casual player?
Civ 2 nearly ended my relationship in the 1990s so I only dip my toe in the water, like an ex-smoker who hangs around the smokers at a party.
This is a great deal
Pretty cool deal
Is this game too hard to play ? Do we get any cheat codes if required for supplies, resources, etc
You can adjust the difficulty.
Cool. Thanks !
It autosaves your previous 10 turns if you feel like cheating.
…not that I’d know anything about that…
Much cheaper than when I bought it.
The iOS version does work well on an iPad pro, but the expansions/content costs much more.Winning strategy is to play it on a steam deck I suppose…
Enjoyed playing Civ 6 with my friends. Kind of preferred the "simplicity" of the base game over the extras the Gathering Storm expansion added, so we usually just disabled it.
I really like the strategic resource system introduced in Gathering Storm. Surprised there are people who don’t. The random events can be a bit how ya garn though.
Is this the complete pack for civ 6 with all the DLCs?
No, if you scroll the page you'll see it has the 2 expansions and a few of the civilization packs but only comes with a 75% off coupon for the New Frontier Pass rather than including the pass too. You'll have to buy that DLC if you want it to be complete.
Continue your quest to build your greatest empire with the Civilization VI - New Frontier Pass, featuring eight new civilizations and nine new leaders, and a variety of new gameplay content, including six new game modes.
https://www.humblebundle.com/store/sid-meiers-civilization-v…
The pass is ordinarily $60 so with the coupon you'll pay $15 which is still pretty good to get all of the Civ content.
Agret is correct, and for historical comparisons, the previous Humble Bundle deal with the same 21 Sid Meier-related game items in Feb 2022 featured a US$15 off discount coupon, instead of this current bundle's 75% off discount coupon, for the exact same New Frontier Pass(store.steampowered.com)
Looks like it's the 2 major CIV 6 DLCs, but not the million leader packs they've introduced since the game came out.
Offer ends in 14 days : 0 hours : 34 minutes
Which is midday on Sat Nov 4 (AEDT)
just get civ 5 complete edition it’s more than enough to take over your life plus it has the dankest of memes, throw the other ones away
Civ 4 is the best outvof all.
Just 1 more turn…
I've got a spare Civ 6 and spare Civ 3 key if anyone wants them?
would love to be considered for Civ 3!
Send you a link via DM loxofdeals
Could use the civ 6 key, tq
Sent you a link Selphie, included the expansion pack key (as per message below). Don't know whether it will work as I tried to claim it. Enjoy
redeemed, thank you so much! it added the base game and scenario pack, just need to pay $3.61 for the two expansions :)
@selphie: Oh that's a great price for the expansions. Good luck! Say goodbye to the next few weeks ;)
Too bad there are no tiers, all i need is covert action and colonization, which should be in the $1 tier
If any one buys this and doesn't want Railroads - I'll relieve you of that burden.
civ 7 coming?
Civ4 had consumed my life. Dare I get this one?
So I went for it and purchased. There must have been a deal similar to this a while ago because I have every single thing already in my Steam account. Yeah, I'm an idiot.
If you still have the keys (which I think you would?) you could give them to friends/strangers or trade them!
You want them?
@Potedude: Appreciate the offer! I actually also have basically everything except Beyond Earth (which isn't of much interest to me). You could throw them as freebies in the classifieds? Otherwise there's stuff like SteamGifts(steamgifts.com) (for giveaways) and reputation-based trading "markets" if you instead wanted to swap them for other games.
@Potedude: I would like it if you haven't gave it away yet, please. Save me 20 after buying a week of bad purchases lol.
@Potedude: If you never successfully DM’s wonderfool, or they’re still available for whatever reason, I’ll gladly take the keys!
That's unfortunate, as it sounds like you had previously purchased either the Feb 2022 version or the Dec 2022 version of this Sid Meier Ultimate Collection Humble Bundle … and didn't remember having already done so, before purchasing this current Oct 2023 version.
Yep, that'd be it.
Just play the original dos version. The settlers look like weird dudes with horns.
Spearmen defeating tanks 😆
And Ghandi gets so peaceful that his peace meter flips over to war because of a number error or whatever. But the original is still it, it's the one I put the most time into back in the day. Using the internal beeper as a speaker.
This Humble Bundle is almost a 1:1 repeat of the Humble Bundle deal I posted back in Feb 2022:
The only differences I can tell are:
- in Feb 2022, it was a US$15 coupon discount for Sid Meier's Civilization VI - New Frontier Pass(store.steampowered.com). With this relaunched Oct 2023 Humble Bundle, it is a 75% off discount coupon (expires Nov 15th 2023).
- the AUD prices are higher due to currency FX rates / inflation.
It's a great deal for new gamers, but people who have been building up a game collexion over the years will most likely already own all of these.
Never played any civilization games ever, loved c&c tho, what would be a good civ game to get into first? Would any of these run on a2014 Toshiba satellite with a shared graphics card of the same vintage,
Hooked on championship manager 00/01 which I mainly use it for just .civ 3 was the best of them, then civ5
Cheers pal
Note for anyone who purchases (or had previously purchased) this bundle to obtain the Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI(store.steampowered.com) base game and several included DLCs(store.steampowered.com)
- if you redeem the bundle's included -75% discounted coupon for Sid Meier's Civilization VI - New Frontier Pass(store.steampowered.com) DLC and pay the discounted price amount (~A$14.99), you will then effectively get the Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI Anthology(store.steampowered.com) Bundle in your Steam library.
- Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI Anthology Bundle owners can then obtain the Sid Meier’s Civilization® VI: Leader Pass(store.steampowered.com) DLC for FREE instead of paying the standalone price of A$32.95
Wow this is incredible value. I have played nearly 3800 hours of Civ 5 and you seem to be paying about $3 for it here…
Never got into Civ 6 because I didn't see how it could be as good, and I also didn't feel like I had another 3800 hours available to spend on it, but for this price…. I might just buy it and see what happens.
