Hi all,
When watching local TV on my TCL c835, (which has google tv) suddenly decided to display "No Signal. Check the input connection" —> Note this is not for any HDMI inputs etc.
It wont scan for digital and analogue channels. My Wifi is working and I have done a factory resent of the TV. The TV is up to date. The antenna cable is working on my other TV.
Google chat support asked me to contact the developers of the TV application.
I will be contacting JB to get a refund and return (within 1st year of use). Living in an apartment with limited space, I don't have the box etc anymore. Will this be an issue?
Overall, I would like to avoid returning the TV and a fix or at least ideas to try would be appreciated.
Thanks
Before you asume it is a TV problem you should exclude an aerial issue. As you are in an apartment you will likely have an amplifier of some sort boosting your signal that may also be at fault. Have you got another TV to test if it can get a signal from your serial cable? BTW, the analogue network was turned off awhile ago so you'll never get an analogue signal.
If it is your TV then it is probably a morherboard fault which is a relatively easy fix and TCL may opt to repair rather than replace. There is no requirement to have the original packaging under the ACL if you do need to return.
