Same as the chocolate bars at the supermarket checkouts, you buy it on a whim I think. A friend tells you it’s amazing and you look it up, doesn’t cost that much, go on and make a purchase.
I did the free year and then paid for the lifetime membership on sale. The app is a LOT better than any of the free and popular ones I tried and I still normally use this one daily, whereas with the others I only used on and off at best. I've easily had the value out of it already 🙂
It's $110/year (usd I assume? )
Can you recall what was the lifetime membership? I can't see that option.
Thanks
I just looked up what I paid. It was $196.84AUD.
I paid $136.99 for the lifetime subscription which was at their deepest sale (75%) off, but I bought it with Google Play Store giftcards I got from Amazon which were 10% off at the time.
$140 in giftcards cost me $126 so that's my actual cost, plus I ended up with roughly $10 in credit leftover in Google Play Store 🙂
Great app. This is coming from someone who has never paid for any apps in Apple, or Google ever and I've tried the free alternatives and it was still definitely worth signing up for lifetime.
This app has always had the first year free on both iPhone and Android. This deal should really be posted as ongoing.
I still have 2 month left from last year 😂
lol lucky you!
I rate it… i had the free year subscription and it served me well. So, i payed for lifetime subscription after that. They have a podcast also which goes alright
this is the best meditation app you can ever have, the simplest. better than calm and headspace
I use Calm, just wondering why this one is better?
I liked calm better because the background noise of the water and birds keeps playing. In balance, there’s no background noise.
However, the male narrator of balance is way better than Tamara from calm in my opinion, but overall I rate calm as a better app.
Must be doing something wrong. Can't seem to get it for free. Unless it doesn't unlock all the benefits.
Medito is free (non profit) and has a solid selection of meditations
Medito is great for free and very generous of them, but using the two is night and day. Balance is so much more enjoyable and well designed.
This or Headspace?
great find, edit - paypal, card etc required
If you install the app on your phone, you'll get the subscription through Google pay which you can immediately cancel.
can't find cancel on app, just used old gc manually and it worked
How much for lifetime subscription ?
I was $196.84AUD. Compare it to a psych visit for cost and it's totally worth it.
It's had regular updates for content in the 3 years or so that I have had it. I use it most night for sleep.
I used this a few years ago and found it was reall good. Then slipped out of it. Have just resigned for another year, free. It's worked better for me than other meditation apps but everyone has personal preferences, needs. Can always cancel before I get charged if I want.
Insight Timer free version is pretty good as well and the yearly subscription is cheaper than Balance if you like it
Don’t forget to cancel. Forgot to cancel my auto renewal with headspace when they were giving a year free and that hurt
oops that hurts
curious to know how you used your "paid' version to the free ? 😋
Thanks for sharing :)
if i cancel the subscription now (to avoid the auto renew) does it cancel the whole sub now or at the end in one years time?
In a years time. Cancel away.
thanks mate
How do I get this to work ? I am currently on 1 year free membership now, expiring in May 24, does this exclude me from the deal?
Can someone explain how to obtain the free membership? I see the "free year" when first opening the app but then it shows priced plans after entering details. Clicking on a plan takes me to google pay with no mention of free first year.
Edit: ok received email to take up one year subscription…
Does anyone actually pay for this. Seems like everyone's giving it away.
