Sorry I was not clear. We do have 2 Cars which are engaged during daytime. Just need the 3rd Small Car used - in the range for $7k-$8k - just to drop and pick my daughter from School to Home. Will not be used much.
Gonna need some more info. No point recommending cousin joes budget rides if you’ve got $30k or want nothing older than 2yo. Conversely, no point telling you to go to the local Toyota dealer if you’ve only got $5k

Up to $7k? Best bet is to try Scamtree, Fartbook or Carsales. You are not going to find many car yards that specialise in old run about shitters in that price bracket.

but if it is just to drop ya kid off at school for 7k [plus you add annual insurance and rego] you're probably better off getting an Uber to drop her off and pick her up depending on how far the school is

I'd go with gumtree/facebook. Not many people will bother paying to advertise for a car in that range. There's also a nice little Fiat that has "for sale" on it over the road from me that has sat there for months, I could offer them $7k for you if you feel like coming to Victoria.
both the cars are occupied daily - family members take it to their workplace.

No Issues with drop Off. someone will drop her. Picking up is the Problem. Need to Pick at 3pm. both finish their work/Uni around 5/6 most of the days. Some days they can pick her up
So why can’t one of the family members who’s going to drive this third car pick up the kid, then pick up the family member from work/uni? Why can’t the family member take public transport back home?
There are plenty of used cars in that price bracket, you just have to look.
Mercedes Dealerships will get you a terrific deal on a secondhand high yield AMG.
