My previous order experience was: BudgetPetProducts packed and sent my order quickly. Unfortunately, the free shipping option is for Aramex. I had all kinds of trouble with delivery, redelivery and finally ended up getting the parcel myself. Keep that in mind if you go for the free shipping…

  • Thank you! Ended up being $82.93 with first subscribe and save. A hair over $10 a tablet. Great deal.

  • Also $70.40 for 6 pack using ADOTY30 code and auto ship from petstock if easier for others. Not quite as good value though.

    Another thought
    Ingredients showing as
100 mg pyrantel (as embonate), 24mg sarolaner, 0.48 mg moxidectin for up to 20KG
200 mg pyrantel (as embonate), 48mg sarolaner, 0.96 mg moxidectin for up to 40KG L
300 mg pyrantel (as embonate), 72mg sarolaner, 1.44 mg moxidectin for up to 60KG XL
That looks pretty linear to me, is essentially a weight based formula, we have a labradorar around 30KG, thinking about, i should have spent a few dollars extra and instead of L should have bought the XL 60 KG chews and chop the XL chew in half and feed tthe 30KG dog half a tablet every month … .
Or is that taking it a step too far?

    • Dude this is ozbargain nothing is a step too far.

    • For some pills they warn the ingredients are not guaranteed to be mixed evenly (even for human pills) and to not cut. How to determine when the risks associated with that are real or bs i've no idea.

      • Yeah the other thing is that the dog size ranges with each pack are kind of huge - there's a big difference between a 20kg dog and a 40kg dog. If the amounts of active ingredients are that critical, surely they'd need to be much more specific with the dog sizes? If getting a dose suitable for a 40kg dog is still ok with a 20kg dog, I don't see how chopping a bigger dose in half can be a problem unless a) the safe doses go right up to the wire for those dog sizes and b) you somehow luck out and manage to cut a badly mixed tablet so that all of the active ingredients are in one half and none are in the other…? If they're potentially that toxic to dogs, should we even be giving them to them?

    • I've been doing this for my dogs for 3 years without issue, two huskies with no fleas ever. They say that the amount of each ingredient might not be equal throughout the chew but I feel like that's an effort to stop people from doing exactly this. But I'm a sceptic so take that with a grain of salt

      • Yeah, i have always thought any risk is reduced with bigger dogs. Our dogs however are small so not game.
