Would these be good for general use, I have to stand up and do lots of steps at work. But get in trouble if I run around. My current ones are falling apart

Rebel V3 is a great pick up, get on it guys. Fantastic running shoe.

Agreed Rebel v3 are amazing. The ones i see in the deal are the Permafrost which are a more water resistant shoe designed for runs in the rain. I have 3 pairs of the normal ones, After about 20km in my first pair I decided to stock up when I saw them around the $100 mark, they're incredibly good for up tempo and PBs without needing to splash for a carbon plate shoe. Also do well on those slower runs too.

    • Will they be fine for work/walking shoes. I do a lot of steps.

I honestly find the quality on NewBalance shoes going pretty down hill. Unfortunately I don't have much choice but still buy them because they make them in wider options for big wide feet like mine.

    • Echoing this, I recently walked through and examined a heap of sports shoes including NB and only a desperately small subset of them have a firm equivalent of a shank under the heel and arch area for stability. These are better than converse, but podiatrists won't endorse them.

A couple of the older Asics Gel Kayanos and GT-2000's did, I didn't see anything else from NB, Adidas, Saucony or other brands, which was disappointing.

      • New Balance model 860 is the only model that has proper good heel and arch support. They also come in 2E and 4E widths for those of us with wide feet. Unsurprisingly, the 860 is not part of this deal.

I used to wear ASICS GT-2000s until the quality went downhill, then I switched to NB 860s. Unfortunately (as you mentioned) the NBs have declined pretty drastically in quality too I'm recent years.

I switched to Saucony, but they don't last any longer than ASICS. Now I'm on Brooks Addiction, they are a high quality shoe, well made, good stability and support, but damn expensive.

  • Too bad the 624 is not part of the deal

  • why no size 15 mens :(

    • Soz…..are you a Villan by any chance?

  • Anyone can pls guide me to arch support ones in this listing?!
