Hey there, does anyone know of a inventory tracker for jaycar, similar to nrby?
When they "clearance" stuff, they REALLY clearance stuff. I've picked up things for 90-99% off before, though usually only 50-80% RRP. However finding the last remaining bargain from them is usually a needle in a haystack and is usually just dumb luck.
I've checked most of the wiki site's and as far as I can tell non contain jaycar in their inventory.
Do you know of any guides/tutorials for making a scraper for dummies? I've never done one before, but I can write/bumble my way though Arduino and HTML coding.
You could self-host changedetection.io to look for changes. It's relatively easy to setup or if you don't want to spend the time setting it up I know they offer a service to host it for you. You can setup custom filters to look for the clearance tag and alert you when it detects that change.

If their website actually shows accurate stock levels, maybe you could build a scraper to look for 'clearance' on updated pages
