Delivery Delays for Exclusive Online Colours @ Samsung

Hi everyone.

Whoever ordered exclusive online colours as part of the recent samsung sale and for that matter, any other time these colours have been purchased, how long was delivery for you?

I have been advised it will take approximately 3-4 weeks to be delivered after ordering on the 17/10 and am livid.

I have also been advised that the T&C say we cannot swap colours etc since the phone has to be customised overseas.

I guess i could be patient but this sort of delay was never advised at all before purchasing.

A quick google search revealed a history of people going through what I have described.

Worth disputing transaction?

  The rate Samsung refreshes might as well have preordered for the next model.

  Bought online colour. Order status is awaiting dispatch. But the postman already came with my phone.

    how long was it for you from ordering to receiving the phone? i bought my s23+ during the xmas/boxing day sales on the 22nd and it hasnt arrived for me yet - same order status as you 'awaiting dispatch'

  Online Exclusive colours need special production. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery.

  Seems pretty clear to me before ordering. Classic example of ozbargain blame shifting. I love it.

  so you ordered the phone less than 48 hours ago and already complaining about delivery delays and that you are LIVID!

  Talk about first world problems.

  If you check the samsung deal thread you'll find a lot of people in the past couple of days have reported of already having their online exclusive phone delivered through startrack, including me.

  They failed to deliver mine after 100 days. Ended up refunding and re-ordering a black colour and got it in 4 days.
