Good price but not sure of Snapdragon 888+

      Whats wrong with sd 888+

  • Edge 30 Ultra is a way better phone for not much more, except for the curved screen. It has been $629 for a couple of times.

Would much prefer a Edge 30 Pro for the same price, it's seen quite often at JB for $499 or $494. Flat screen, better chip and similar battery + charging.

  • Is it often that Moto has 1/2 price sales? I wish Google Pixel and iPhones doing the same as well.

    • Old stock , these phones were released a year ago

      • The Fusion & Ultra were released Sept 2022 and the Pro in Jan 2022. They're old but not much else beats them at this price point.

Bought this from Officeworks this morning.

Price beat brought it down to $469.3.

8% Ultimate Home eGift card from Amazon brought it down further to $431.76

Will TRS it in a months time to bring the total price down to less than $400

Bought one much cheaper at the Lenovo sale. I'll continue to highlight that this phone is not waterproof and barely water resistant at all. If you are at risk of exposing it to water look elsewhere…
Otherwise apart from the camera which is only ok I really liked it :(

  • Got this phone for $354 delivered by good guys a few months ago. I really like the phone, the camera is good enough. comes with a fast charger. Happy with the phone.

  • Good hardware. Crap software updates.

No security updates past Sept 2025.

You do internet banking on your phone. Your accounts are drained dry by scammer . Easy for the bank to blame you for not using an up to date and patched software device.

Complete hypothetical of course but not sure I want to take the chance in this day and age.
