Curious to know about Home Insurance issues with these.

    • If you get broken into, with zero evidence that there was any "breaking" (eg dodgy cybersecurity on the lock, or the fingerprint scanner lets anyone in) then good luck convincing the insurance or the cops someone did actually "break" in

  • Yeah I wouldn’t trust that

  • This seems like a slightly better option? https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BWMNJGSP/

Dont think I'd be trusting anyone but a reputable brand for my deadbolts.
    This isn't worth the risk

  • But don't we need to hire someone to replace the current lock🤔

If you already have matching cut outs in your door, you don't need to hire anyone as it'll be a simple unscrew of the old lock and screwing in of the new lock. To check the measurements, the simplest way is just to unscrew your current lock, measure the size of the circle hole in the door, measure how far its inset from the side of the door, and measure the Rectangle side hole which the latch goes in to. If they all match the specs of a lock, you can easily swap them in under 30mins. Here's the lock I bought and it's installation. It was very simple. https://youtu.be/wbjaLOMAzIA?si=KSKTJigXoeHoTGXW

  • This has 2 reviews… why would anybody bother buying something with 2 reviews when there's plenty of alternative options with over 100 if not 1000 reviews…
