Grappling Gi: $70 Gold Weave + $10 Shipping & Single Weave $38.50 + $8 Shipping

10

Just got back into training and have been searching every nook of google to find the best prices for jiu jitsu / judo Gi/s.

Thought I'll share the results of all my research with those that may be looking for some:

http://www.fightingfitgear.com.au/en/42-brazilian-jiu-jitsu
have single weave GI/s for $38.50 + $8 shipping, pretty good prices on gold weave as well. I bought 2 for a combined shipping of $8.80

http://www.ringsport.com.au/product.php?id=583
currently 50% off grey and red gold weave Gi/s + $10 shipping.

Always happy to support and encourage retailers that charge reasonable prices.

I haven't received my items yet, so cannot comment on the quality or cutting of the uniform. caveat emptor

yea i called them about that and they said it shows $139 and you agree to pay $139 but they'd only take $65.50 off your credit card.

I just bought a new one for $200 from Japan and it is infinitely better than any of the cheaper ones I have previously owned. Much softer, and lighter, whilst still being rugged and durable. I think my cheap gi days are over.

    Ozbargain grapplers unite!

  • I'm wondering about the sizing for the ringsport gi(I haven't bought a gi before), the chart has A5 as 185-195cm tall, I'm 190cm tall, but nowhere near the 95kg-115kg weight bracket, more like 80kg at the moment. Should I get it anyway?

  • Yes If I was to but a uniform I want a super lightweight one, dont like these cheap hessian bag type of doboks.
But Im guessing BBJ needs a tough uniform lol

    • BJJ (whoops)
