  • Can't help with gloves as I never found a pair I was 100% happy with but are you using wraps? If you're not then that could be at least part of your problem.

    • No wraps
Do you have a shop you recommend

      • I used to buy online from the cheapest store at the time.

      • Just go down to any sports shop. Get some everlast wraps.

Winnings branded gloves are the ones you want if you are doing it seriously

    Otherwise hayabusa

Does you hand hurt or wrists ?

    • Knuckles

      • What gloves you using and how old are they?

Maybe also get some gel inserts to start with

        • I picked up some cleto reyes 18oz for $60 from amazon.

        • I just bought kmart 25 dollars

@Moneyinthebank: Yep. That’s your problem right there

Get yourself a pair of sting armaplus - probably the best bang for buck

Amazon has them for $65 vs rebel $90

  • Sting or Madison have good padded inner gloves.
I only use in boot camp or boxing on bag or with a PT.
    Saves the old hands.

Wear wrist wraps and go for something like a 10 or 12 oz Twins glove.

    Toughen up princess….

  • Fairtex boxing gloves and SMAI hand wraps

    • BGV9 or something else?

  • I boxed for a few years and found Punch gloves great for training. The biggest difference was wearing hand wraps through. They take a lot of the shock and pain out of training.

  • I've trained muay thai for 15 years and found 10oz Twins to be my favourite all rounder for bag and pad work and hold up the longest. It can take a good 3-4 sessions to wear the foam in properly and feel pretty hard until them. If you've got a bag with crap filling and it's too hard/bouncy then the glove won't make a difference and you'll need to empty the bag and fill it with rags/clothes jamming them in as tight as you can as you go.
