Hosting: 5GB Disk / 100GB Transfer - $3/Month - ServersINseconds

80
SERVERSINSECONDS

ServersINseconds has our popular Starter Web Hosting plan discounted to $3 per month with the coupon code SERVERSINSECONDS.

For your $3, you get a massive 5GB of disk space, 100GB of monthly transfer, and true 24/7 phone support!

Seriously, test us by calling us on 03 9005 7723, day or night, and speak to a hosting geek about our options for you.

Apart from huge disk space, bandwidth, and very responsive support, ServersINseconds Starter plan includes all of the basics:

  • Unlimited Emails
  • Unlimited Sub-domains
  • Unlimited MySQL Databases
  • 15 Parked Domains
  • 15 Add-on Domains
  • Email Spam Filtering
  • 99.95% Uptime SLA
  • Money Back Guarantee
  • Free Instant Setup

If you need a cheap domain name, we've got that covered too. Our .com domains are $13 per year, and our .com.au domains are $22 per year.

What makes us different?

ServersINseconds offers a 99.95% uptime guarantee, with a real SLA. Further to that - a guaranteed 1 hour response time to sales and support email tickets, also with a real SLA.

By real SLA I mean that some companies offer "SLAs" of 99.9%, then when they break them and only achieve 99%, they refund 0.9% of the monthly plan price (ie. cents). We do a full month refund on any issues with fulfilling our SLA.

That's a real "We perform, or your money back" type deal, and we back it 100%.

I'll go as far as saying, when other services back up their claims like ServersINseconds does, I hope people remember who moved first.

The deal is for a limited time only, so get in quick.

That's it. Cheap Web Hosting with ServersINseconds.

    So normally $4, now $3 ??? save $1 !!!

When you compare the bargain price to our standard pricing, it may not seem like much, but I'd be interested to see you mention another host offering what we do for the price.

Do they offer a REAL uptime SLA? Do they guarantee their email response times, again with a real SLA?

It costs money to offer features like that.

But, hey, this deal might not be for everyone. I'm not claiming it is. But I will say in a price vs features comparison, I'll put ServersINseconds' plans up against ANY Australian host.

        • You talk like you have really outstanding SLA, but I find it difficult to find the SLA on your site. Can you point me to it? What I see is 'Uptime Guarantee', but guarantee of what?

        • Hi wildstone.

You can click on the text "24/7 phone and ticket support SLA" and "99.95% SLA" in the top heading areas to see the SLA. I'll talk with my colleagues about making it prominent though.

You can see the SLA here:
          http://www.serversinseconds.com.au/sla.html

        • Hi Rep,

That's a very intriguing SLA, and I think it will be a good selling point for your plans (assuming it is REAL SLA as you claimed). I think you should definitely make it stand out on your website.

Again, you gotta make sure those sorts of guarantees can be fulfilled, otherwise it will be backfired.

        • Thanks wildstone.

I agree that it makes our service stand out - and definitely should stand out more on our site.

I'll get the developers to work some magic.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

        • netvirtue.com.au $2.48/mth 10GB/200GB, 99.5% uptime SLA, 24/7 support.
SLA: "the target time to action all support requests is within 15 minutes."
          NV domain rego's are cheaper.
          much of a muchness really.

        • +2

          From NetVirtue's SLA:
"The service level guarantee will be measured by NV and is based on the up-time.
If NV determines that primary services were unavailable for period exceeding the maximum allowable under the prescribed up-time target, and extending for a continuous duration of 1 hour or more per instance, upon the customer’s request, NV will credit the customer’s monthly invoice the prorated charges of one (1) day of the NV services fee for each consecutive hour, up to a maximum of 7 days per month."

Even in a disaster of 7 hours downtime, you only get credit for 7 days service.

This differs from our SLA of 100% refund of your monthly service fee.

Their site isn't clear on their phone support hours, so I can't see how we compare there.

I hope businesses keep advertising here, but with JV's pointless rants, I can see why many don't.
Some of your rants can be seen as attacks, give these guys a little leeway, before you go the whole 9 yards.

This is a bargain website, not an advertising website…

If they want to advertise, they can pay for the ads on the side bar…

..as mentioned earlier, the Crucial deal is better value than this.

jv perception off a bargain, differs to most. ie if you were only 50c a month and went to 49c a month, in his eyes that not a bargain. A bargain has nothing to do with the original price.

same price but better value elsewhere as per earlier link…

ie if you were only 50c a month and went to 49c a month

just because somebody drops their price, it does not make it a bargain, you need to look at what others are selling this product or service for…

You website has a few conflicting details.
On the front page it says 100GB monthly transfer but when I click on Web hosting it says 20GB monthly transfer.

Also, on the price comparison for the web hosting it says "Server Location: Sydney".
However in your FAQ's it says something else:

"Our primary server is located in New Jersey in the USA. In the event that the primary server has a minor outage, a second redundant server is located off-site in Denver. By having the second server in another network operations center, even a security breach or fire cannot bring our hosting down."

    • Thanks Aussie89.

We've recently re-branded our services, so there are obviously a few little bugs to work out that weren't picked up in our checks.

I'll get the site adjusted immediately.

To clarify - the servers are in the Global Switch datacentre in Sydney, and the Starter plan includes 100GB of monthly transfer.

      Thanks again.

    • Our developers have reported back that they've corrected both issues. Thanks for the bug report!

  • … well for $3/m, I think I will stay with HostGator as they offer much better service with all of features this guy offered PLUS much more… I received an email few weeks back, they are now offering 25% discount for all new sign up with the discount code "30SPET2012" the web hosting package will be $2.96/month after the discount but don't forget to apply the discount code before you submit the order, the offer will be ended 30/9/2012 - http://HostGator.com

I believe HostGator is a US based service. There are some major differences in the US web hosting market when compared with the Australian one. If you haven't used an Aussie service (and servers) you're missing out.

  • -3

That's what you guys may "missing out"…

    UNLIMITED Disk Space
    UNLIMITED Bandwidth
    UNLIMITED MySQL Databases
    99.9% Uptime Guarantee (SLA)
45 Day Money Back Guarantee (SLA)
$100 Google AdWords FREE adverting credit
    and much more …

As a customer with them for about 2 years I never have any issues with them and great customer service. I received an email few weeks back, they are now offering 25% discount for all new sign up with the discount code "30SPET2012" the web hosting package will be $2.96/month after the discount but don't forget to apply the discount code before you submit the order, the offer will be ended 30/9/2012 - http://HostGator.com

Mate seriously piss off with your hostgator spam crap, anyone with half a brain involved in hosting anything knows to stay away from greedy American corporations who make you believe you are getting something you aren't. There is no way anyone in their right mind would compare host gator or blue host or any of them to a genuine local business offering a genuine service with a geuine sla. I've never heard of the company but because the op has backed his claim and I can almost guarantee they will stick to it because every customer matters to such smaller local web hosts, unlike the giant USA host who couldn't give a shit. I can personally appreciate the value in this deal having been screwed a few times by hosts blatantly lieing just to make a sale. As I said if the op and the company don't live up to their sla then the customers will let their wallet do the talking and they will go out of business. Pretty simple really.

    • +2

Yes another imbecile who knows enough about web hosting to get in trouble! Compare apples with apples before sprouting off crap!

You cannot compare USA based hosts with Australian hosts. Good luck with that "UNLIMITED Everything", please upload 200TB and see how long before they kick you off their server. I personally don't care for ServersINseconds deal, but I am sick to death of every time someone posts a deal on here for an Australian based web hosting deal at least 10 fools jump on "…but I can get UNLIMITED everything from Joe Bloggs in the USA….". If you don't know the difference between quality Australian based services vs. USA based hosting then please don't comment.

    Hi ServersINseconds,

Your price is very good for Australian price! This is quite important as some businesses want to show the Australian aspect. If you allow me ask 1 question only:

Having quite a number of hosting providers, I found out the real indicator that the website will "survive" (i.e: without tons of "Error 500 Internal Server Error") is the memory allowable for each session.
(I understand this is a shared hosting, so there is no such thing as "allocated memory", I refer the term to "allowable memory" to the limit where your auditing software has not yet cut off the site)

For example, a decent wordpress site (with "unnecessary" plugin, depended on the precompiled module on the Apache) will use around 30-40MB. If you allow burst of memory only for 64MB, then the 2nd person visiting the website about the same time already got a chance of receiving "Internal Server Error"

The other parameter like bandwidth and hard disk space is really trivial because if 2 person cannot access at once, there will be no traffic and it will eventually the website die down… A good web hosting company will let the customer grow with them - allowing generous lee way and when it reached certain ceiling, they just offer upgrade. It's a win-win…

So, the one question I need to ask is how much is your allowable memory?
    Thanks!

    • Hi xtanda.

Thanks for the kind words, and considering our services.

As far as the allowable memory goes - I'll have to refer this to our technical staff.

I'll investigate now, and respond ASAP.

      Thanks again.

    • I've heard from our techs, who are willing to increase the memory limit on the server to 128MB in the php.ini file.

As you probably know, this isn't a solution for using well tested and efficient code, but we'll do it for you as a potential new long term client.

Please email us at [email protected] if you sign-up, and we'll get the change made on your allocated server.

      • "I've heard from our techs, who are willing to increase the memory limit on the server to 128MB in the php.ini file."

        Increase it from what"?

        What do 'normal' customers receive?

        Thanks.

        • Hi A3Australia.

Thanks for your interest in our services,

The server is set to 64MB at the moment, but as I said we'll be flexible if our clients need it.

          Thanks again.

Do you host on mac pros?

    • We offer cPanel on Linux. If you want the specific hardware we use, I'll have to check with the technical guys. Needless to say, it's high-end and under utilised to allow for spikes in traffic.

      • So why use mac pros in your banner on the website?

    • Why would anyone host on a mac… That would be insane when there are the Linux options, and a vast number of them.

Just curious what you would get from hosting on a mac that you wouldn't from a linux or windows server?

      • -3

        ???

      • Poking at them for using photos of mac pros on their website.

        • Lol fair enough.

  • If one registers a domain with you, is DNS management included? Do you have a web interface to create Subdomains etc.

Also, is fantastico available to install things like WordPress?

    • Hi scarface.

      Thanks for considering ServersINseconds.

DNS management is included with all domain name registrations, with a console to edit DNS records and create sub-domains.

We don't have fantastico, but include one-click WordPress installations through cPanel.

  • My only gripe about this is that just last week you offered the same deal for 50c/month more, which I signed up for! :(

    • +1

      Hi again sloppy.

Thanks for signing up. I appreciate that we've since run a similar promotion with a slightly larger discount.

Don't be too concerned though, as I think you'll appreciate the surprise in the mail we're sending to our new clients.

      Thanks for the feedback.

      • lol … I'm just penny pinching, but your response is appreciated! I will keep a close eye on my email … you know, as opposed to normal ;)
