  • any similar model without 3D?
how does sharp warrenty works? is there service centre or call them and they ll pick up etc?

    • The closest model that we have on our website that does not support 3D is the Sony VPLEW130 this can be found at http://www.bigbrownbox.com.au/sony-vplew130-home-projector/ for $898.

Sharp offer 12 months manufacturers warranty with this model which in the event that something was to go wrong with this during that timeframe you would need to contact Sharp Australia or us to organise a service on your projector. Once this has been organised you would need to take it to one of their Authorised Service Agents to look at it who would look at the problem and fix it.

      • Sony VPLEW130 is not really the answer the poster was looking for. Yes, it is without 3D but it is only 1280x800.

If there is a 1920x1080 projector without 3D that would be more like the answer. Unfortunately doesn't look like an option.

I've got to say, the Sharp looks like a good unit for the money, just ignore the 3D capability (though I too would prefer not to pay for an unused feature).

  • Is this IR or Blutooth sync? Cos I'm tired of my glasses de-syncing when I turn my head…

    • 3D projection compatible with “IR Link” (2 pair of glasses included)
Built-in IR emitter for 3D function

  • How much is a replacement bulb/how long is a bulk rated for?
