Citizen BN0163-00H Promaster Marine Eco-Drive Divers Watch $289 Delivered ($269 w/ Signup) @ Watch Depot

130

BN0162-02X, insufficient quantity, removed from title — Mod. EDIT: OOS

Was hoping SB would be cheaper, but they didn't even match the regular price. $20 signup with any email. They don't care; I've been using variations of my gmail.

I'm getting both in separate transactions for $269 each.

  • Good price but colourway gives off tacky Versace vibes to me.

    • wrong. best cw

      • It would look good on you but not on me.

        • what about the grey one?

          • @rosebank: Better but in my experience the gold plating eventually rubs off from friction of cuffs and looks bad.

        • Nice try , it's bloody horrendous

      • Unite with blue is nice or I wouldn't have grabbed it.
        I don't do gold.

  • +2

The Unite With Blue limited edition one seems like a good price too. $379/$359 with code.

    • That's a good price. I paid $450 at SB. Dial is very nice

      • Yup same here, what type of strap you wear yours with?

        • Maroon nato

    • I bought this on the last sale, and probably an unpopular opinion but I think it's very overrated. The shimmer effect IS nice, but it's really only apparent in the very centre of the dial. In person it doesn't have as much impact as you'd expect, and without it the rest of the watch is pretty meh.

Personal opinion, of course, but for me it'll be one I sell on.

I agree with you on this. It looked great in all the videos and pictures I saw of it, but in person…underwhelming. The treated part of the dial should have extended all the way to the rehaut, not just to the inner edge of the indices. And the bezel is a lot darker than I thought it would be, so it gets less colour pop there too.

I am still thinking of if I can afford to buy a comrade Vostok Amphibia; or Komandirskie; or a non-original Sea-Gull 1963.
We really live in a non-fair universe!

    • I would avoid Vostok. Build quality is quite bad, and I bought a day/date one that had the weirdest way to change the date

Jokes aside, They would look good on you.
You would make me a watch collector. Gees. After getting your statics from 157 pages of watch posts, have been following watch posts. I will buy a couple of with military history and stop it, I feel it will be addiction.
Btw I watched a yutube review about that weird date change.

    • I'll go the other way and recommend a Vostok. They are authentic, they have an interesting history and the design is interesting. If you don't care about that aspect, then a SD1970 offers more watch per dollar. I'd probably avoid a model with a day/date or not bother setting it.

I've almost bought one a few times.
