The price in title is after all stacking discounts have been applied, using a trade-in device valued at $5.

I was not able to complete checkout because Asurion (the trade-in provider) is broken for me but I expect it should work for others.

To get this price:

  1. Install the Samsung Shop app to take advantage of the 10% discount for your first in-app order. Use the app for the remaining steps.
  2. Add the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 512GB to your cart. You must choose from the online exclusive colours only.
  3. Navigate to Computing & Display > Memory & Storage > Memory Card > EVO Plus microSD Card. Add 2 of the 64GB to your cart.
    This should now have activated the additional 20% off advertised here: https://www.samsung.com/au/youmake/
    If it hasn't taken effect, try forcing your cart to update by incrementing the quantity of SD cards, then decrementing.
  4. Add a trade in device to take advantage of the $600 trade-in bonus. You can use the TradeUp app to generate a $1 code for generic headphones (Or so I've heard. Asurion doesn't work for me. I added a $5 Huawei Mate 20 for testing.)
    For reference, my total at this point is $1,382.
  5. Apply your 10% loyalty code.
  6. Apply your $100 loyalty code.
  7. Apply your $50 newsletter code.

            @froogletom: yeah it's just bugging out I think, I got it work again just then by adding sound bars to the bundle instead. Not much use to me though cause I don't want 2 soundbars.
            I'll probably just wait for a restock of the bud 2 pros hopefully cause they should be easy enough to resell

    I got it all to work again at this moment but I am going to give it away by removing from my cart.

    I got it to $900~ yesterday with the flash drives during Asurion issue and was too busy at the time it was fixed to keep them in my cart, now the cheapest I can get the Fold 5 256Gb is $1283 now and my S23 is still going strong (Trade in to Mobile monster is $730, the $550 difference I think is too much for me at the moment to go back to a Fold and I don't need the buds).

        Yup because the Buds 2 Pro are around $250 after the discounts. While the Memory Cards/USBs were less than $65 for 2.

        The bundle discounts 20% with 3 items (phone and 2 drives) and only 15% off with 2 items (buds and phone)

    I've been reading these comments with amusement.

    Of course if I could get a new fold 5 for around $1,000 I would jump in at myself.

    However for those of you that can't get anything with this deal then please consider a refurbished fold 3 from eBay. They are now only $700 with a coupon code.

    The major difference is about 18 grams heavier for my older fold 3. Also the cameras are a bit weaker. But I had a fantastic time using the camera on a 6-week around the world trip and honestly never had an issue.

      I didn't downvote but I will say I've had the Fold 3 for some time and I would say based off reviews, the Fold 5 for $900-$1300 is an amazing price that brings much more value than the Fold 3. If you want something future proof the SD8 Gen 2 by TSMC is a huge upgrade compared to Sd888 by Samsung Foundry

      And seeing as there has been 2 deals now that placed the Fold 5 at under $1300 with trade in bonuses it is worth waiting for it again.

        Not downvoted neither, but I agree that with 300-400 more (if ppl take buds2 option), it’s a no brainer to get brand new phone, 2 generation later wiith warranty from samsung (well they’re not the best but I certainly take them any day over refurb one)

        Wow, -7 downvotes for my comment, just for offering some helpful advice.

        I honestly haven't had any application feel "slow" using the SD888…. and I am a power user compared to everyone I know.

        You can even go on YouTube and watch videos, where is the difference? 2 seconds boot time on Asphalt 9?

        My main concern is my device is now out of warranty, of I drop it, if the screen starts playing up. So I'd love to jump onto a Fold 5 for $1200 myself. But still, I lose $600 selling this Fold 3 on Gumtree/Facebook.

        Then they also charge stupid prices for decent cases for folds, I lucked out finding a great case for $30. And the hassle of reattaching my popsocket or getting a new one.

        If you don't want to downvote me again, I will just say you should definitely get Samsung Care for 2 years. But keep in mind, if you do that and sell the phone to someone else, please organise to transfer ownership with Samsung Care which is a separate team, otherwise the future owner will have hassles.

        At the end of the day, 18 grams and a better camera is not an upgrade over the Fold 3. If you are new to Folding phones, then please come over here, the water is warm! The more the merrier.

      Note also the 2 year warranty, plus the higher resale value of Fold 5 (than Fold 3) when you want to let it go

            @CyberMurning: The phone counts as 1 item so realistically you only need 1 more to get the 15%.

            The extra 5% from adding another eligible product isn't always worth it.

      you need to try add those coupon codes in different order. I "think" (from memory) what I did was (not 100% sure as I had to try so many different combos in terms of order to add items):
      1. Add phone (Fold 5)
      2. Add 10% code
      3. Add $100 code
      4. Add $50 code
      5. Add Budspro
      6. Add trade-in

    It has to be specificed colour. I couldnt get the 10 percent off with the green but managed with blue. And also it stacked with 20% off code for galaxy devices (buds, watch etc) which i believe is targeted. Managed to get flip5 blue with bud (purple) for 634.63

        Total for both. It only works for purple bud and blue flip 256gb. Other combination seems to take away the 10% loyalty bonus. Ive only tried green flip which is my first preference.. couldn't get it to work, so perhaps other colour other than green might work.

          oh, I tried (didn't buy), it's the same, the 20pc watch code only reducing the buds by $50, total is the same as you (without the watch code, it's only $50 more)
