Free Whopper (Survey Invitation Required)

61

Now that the other free Whopper vouchers have finished…

Both Perth city stores have had this for a while (probably others).

On the bottom of the receipt prints a survey invitation. Staff do not usually hand you this (though I have been given a couple) so if I see it print off the register I usually pick it up. I’ll wait till they turn their back as it seems a little dodgy, especially if I am just getting a free Whopper.

Sometimes they let the receipts pile up on the counter and when I was getting my free Whopper yesterday I picked up a pile that had another 8 more in it.

The survey takes less time to complete than it takes to eat a Whopper (once you’ve done it a couple of times you can click through it all pretty quick), so while I’m eating one free whopper I can use the in store free wifi to do the survey for the next.

Tips: Don’t tick “Dissatisfied” or answer yes to “Did you have a problem?” or you get asked extra questions on what they can do better (what’s not to be satisfied about in a free lunch?). Also you don’t need to type anything in the text box “Please tell us why you were satisfied…”, just click next.

The sample receipt on the web site says offer must be redeemed within 7 days, though mine say 30 days.

Getting a bit sick of Whoppers but given the choice of a free Whopper and paying for anything else, what is an OzBargainer to do. Though I fear that what I’ve saved on whoppers I’ll soon be spending up on new pants.

I’ve now got more Whopper vouchers than I can eat Whoppers in the next month. Hopefully another OzBargainer can pick up all the receipts and save me from myself.

  • so what are the codes ???

    • If you get the survey invitation printed on the bottom of your receipt as stated above (or pick up a pile of them off the counter), you do the survey on-line and at the end of the survey it gives you a "Validation Code" which you then write on the receipt and take in for your next free whopper.

per receipt: free whopper when you buy chips and a drink.
    not free

    • Mine are all just a straight Free Whopper (to be redeemed within 30 days not 7 as shown on the web-site sample receipt).

      • but you still need a receipt to begin the survey, so it's not free.
unless someone here could post a few codes? I wonder if the "time of your visit" is part of validating the receipt.

        • You do need a receipt with the survey invitation attached, but I've been picking up these receipts when I go in for my free Whoppers (they don't usually hand them to you but I just pick em up off the counter as they are printed off the back of the register).

There is no check against the time the receipt is actually printed and the "time of your visit" you enter into the survey, it works whatever time you put in.

I didn't tag the post in the "Freebies" category as due to the survey requirement not everyone can get it, but I've been getting these for a month now, and with enough of these survey vouchers to keep me in "Free" Whoppers through the next month I thought I'd share.

The last free whopper voucher is still current. Expires 30th of sept

    • Can u please tell me where i can get that voucher??

        you steal them apparently…

"I’ll wait till they turn their back as it seems a little dodgy"

        • Is picking up a discarded receipt more stealing than printing a voucher and pretending you won a competition which you didn't?

I think inusure is asking about the one which expires 30th Sept?

Is picking up a discarded receipt more stealing

Do the receipts belong to you?

If you take them without permission, yes, it is stealing.

printing off a voucher is not the same thing as taking a receipt that belongs to someone else.

        • If they leave receipts on counter its deemed littering and your doing that person a favour by removing them. Its not stealing.

        • And printing multiple copies of a single use voucher that someone else has won and passing it as you own is fraud.

        • -3

and passing it as you own is fraud.

          it sure is…

both theft and fraud are wrong… no argument there…

but shopadocket vouchers are for you to print off, they're not won by someone else…

        • That's why I'm not using the other Free Whopper voucher.

The receipts sometimes (not always) print with the survey invitation on the bottom. If you pick up your own receipt/survey invitation it is not stealing.

You have "earned" the Whopper by doing the survey. Yes it takes time to complete, but not any longer than it takes to eat a Whopper, so if you are having lunch you can use the in-store free wifi to the survey while you eat.

And whether picking up other peoples discarded litter to get extra survey invitations is really stealing or not you can still get a "Free" Whopper IF your own receipt has the invitation, you don't have to "steal" it.

People should look out for the survey invitation as the staff don't usually hand them over.

Not free - requires your time to do the survey (and possibly the purchase of drink+fries per the receipt picture)

Wish Macas had a customer satisfaction survey thingy!!!

Got one of those new lamb burgers!!!!!!
The slice of onion that had 6 thick rings to it was almost as big as the rest of the burger,
the egg must have come from a quail, beetroot had been rooted and was almost none existent,
    lettuce…what was that!

    NOT HAPPY AT ALL!

    Whoppers win hands down.
