[VIC] OzBargain 17th Birthday - Fitzroy Meetup at The Birmingham Hotel (6pm Wednesday 29th November 2023)

I'm pretty keen for an OzB 17th birthday Steak and Parma night, so figure I might as well arrange it.

The Birmingham Hotel in Fitzroy seems pretty decent. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays they've got $20 steaks and $17 parmas, along with 50c wings. I'm sure we can have a decent run at those options and maybe some other items or share plates within the $35/pp budget

    Hi Boblim, Thanks for organising the get together.

    Hope you can get given some Ozbargain t-shirts to pass out. Those are my favourite momentos from past Ozbargain get togethers, ha ha.

    Have you given thought as to how to remind all those registered to turn up? Some may not have realised they successfully registered for the event and that is confirmed as being on.

    I only have small OzBargain Black or Maroon Shirts (2022 & 2021 Gildan version) t-shirts left. If that is your size, then I'll put some aside as I'm going to give my remaining stock to cerealsmok3r & RIPWallet for their meetups this week.

    Hi all,

    If you're not able to attend anymore, please cancel your registration ASAP so someone on the waitlist can take your place.

    Just confirming that we're all locked in for tomorrow. I'll be arriving around 6pm but please let me know if you'll be significantly later (say after about 6.30).

    I was only able to get the original 16 places but we don't have a hard finish time on the tables.

    My plan at the moment is to get a combination of individual meals, soft drinks, and some shared plates, but it's pretty flexible so just let me know on the night if you'd like something different.

    Unfortunately there won't be much in the way of t-shirts this time around sorry.

    Looking forward to seeing you there!

    I got notification that I am registered now , but its such a short notice. Ill have to pass and cancel my registration. Next year may be.
