I can’t seem to find an answer to my question.
Anyone know the answer to this question, in NSW are you legally allowed to over take vehicle on the left when the vehicle infront is turning right into a drive way in a wide single lane traffic.
Below is what I found on the government website. The statement below means any condition or meet all three conditions. Anyone knows?

Overtaking on the left
The only time you can overtake on the left is when the vehicle you’re overtaking is:
- Waiting to turn right or make a U-turn from the centre of the road
- Stopped
- Travelling on a multi-lane road.
To overtake a vehicle turning right or making a U-turn from the centre of the road, you can:
- Use the left lane
- Drive on, across or outside edge lines for up to 100m
- Dive in a bus lane, transit lane or truck lane for a maximum of 100m
- Drive in a bicycle lane or tram lane for a maximum of 50m.
Yes.
And then you literally go and post the legislation :/
