Fujifilm X-S10 Vs Sony ZV1 MK2

Hi Camera Lovers,

Need a bit of help here - I'm currently tossing between buying either X-S10 or ZV1 MK2.

I want to shoot vlog but at the same time some portrait/landscape photos as well.

I've done my research, ZV1 is obviously superior when it comes to vlogging but not much articles online about the photography part.

X-S10 is known for their filters which I saw some samples and absolutely loved it.

Pricing isn't an issue at this stage ZV1 I can get around $1100 and I have a friend selling a bundled deal for XS10 for around $1800 (1855 lens and other accessories+batteries).

Would love to hear your opinions on this. Thanks in advance.

Oh yes, this would be my first ever camera so I'm pretty new.

Thanks all. Decided to go with XS10. More versatile if I want to get into photography more in the future so I can change lenses. Lol one of my mates pointed out I should just shoot with my iPhone 14 pro to start with to see how it goes. Was able to spot a deal (private) for XS10 with 18-55 for a decent price.

  I would try youtube, not like any got both to compared with plus there is a personal choice of brand.

    I’ve seen so many. Problem is a lot of them don’t have much real life usage experience heaps reputable YouTubers just had it for a few days, so I wanted to see if anyone here had it for longer!

  Consider that you are investing into a lens system and not just a single camera. Fuji has lots of great small light primes, but they are probably more suited to still photography.

  Why not look at a Sony a-series body (a6000 or a6300)? I think second-hand a6300s go for around $750 these days.

    I went to JB yesterday, gosh that thing is LIGHT. I ended up going with XS10 (picking up on Sat, so I’m still watching videos and reviews). XS10 is surprisingly ok for vlog, slightly heavier and AF isn’t as strong (Sony’s AF is just next level), but I think I can live with it for the time being
