    Very tempted to get one of these. Was at a theme park the other night and my ADHD child just ran off. Lost him for a good 30 minutes. Would something like this be able to track him down in a crowd of people?

      Depends how busy the area is. Mine didn't work at the Melbourne show

          The ultra wideband augmented reality mode didn't work. So I knew my kids were in the same building but in a crowd of hundreds I couldn't pinpoint their location at all. My kids weren't lot fortunately, but as long as you're aware it won't be magic solution, it's better than nothing.

          We were all in the showbag tent building and I was trying to work out which side of the building they were on even the counter. But it didn't work with that precision due to the crowd and probably interference

    I wanna use this to track my bike, does it give its location to other users after awhile as airtag does or no?
    the airtag tells other users after around 2 hours that there's an airtag near by and it gives the location with AR which makes it useless .

      Yes it does. I gave it to a friend with an iPhone to take home and it beeped randomly after an hour and then an alert an hour after that.

      I suggest severing the speaker wire so at least its harder to find (see how to video on earlier comment)

    Got a low battery warning on one I'm using (only for passive tracking set and forget). ~ Bought a week after launch.

    Reading a few comments online about similar cases

      Haven't had a warning on either of mine yet. Bought at launch. Tracked it a few times on a recent trip.
