Native 4k. Nice find
Not native but still 2160p
Genuine question, how to tell whether it's native 4k or not?
The pixelshift technology. That mean it is. 1080p that "flick" 4x times to reach 2160p pixels. It is REALLY hard to spot any difference from a native 4k chip that costs from 9k AUD.
you are getting 4k pixels
pixelshift is brilliant tech that just works
I agree. Just saying that because someone above posted it was native.
I have one, the resolution is great, but have take while to play with the color settings [can load presets from PC], the speakers are rubbish and make a lot of noise even not using it, I thought it was the fan noise but when I mute it it goes quiet.
How is the sound with these? I got a nebula projector but volume is very low, hoping to find one with decent sound
Did you read the comment above you?
oops sorry didn't read any comments XD
Slightly off the topic: Anybody else feels HDR is the new 3D, a marketing or industry gimmick?
We used to live without HDR and lighting departments in films or games would just do their job to make the picture look alright.
Now we're looking for some HDR specs to have the tonal range we can't even tell if it's as intended or not. And iphones blind you with selectively spiked brightness as soon as they detect "HDR" content.
