  • For this money I'd expect little more than a potato with a sticky pad attached and video quality to match

  • +1

Similar doesn't mean it's good quality.

    Stick with something from viofo.

  • The app GoLook has only been around for 2 months. Looks like the dev has made a similar app previously which is rated poorly (yet seems to be same functionality).

  • Does anyone know if it's any good? I mean, I bet it isn't but the video doesn't look too bad.

Any dashcam is better than no dashcam

In principle I agree, but I also worry that a cheapy like this might be quietly crapping out (e.g. sun, dust, UV) and the driver would never know. In that sense, having a cheap dashcam can be worse than having nothing because you have a false sense of security with it. I wonder what it'd be like over the long-term for that reason. I know my Viofo can withstand the UV and dust. I wonder about this one?

  • It is similar to the Xiaomi 70mai Dash Cam

Not at all, the Xiaomi one has a Sony sensor and I believe both have a battery backup.
Not a deal unless your budget is $40 but not worth your time anyways.

  • Full HD my arse. If someone does a hit and run, you will be able to send the police all 7 pixels to help identify the offender.

  • Do you have any with inside and rear?
    What about side?
Are there any that work when parked?
