  I don't understand why Dolby gives the Atmos label to speakers that obviously cannot handle it. Its good but its not magic, you need rear speakers if you want the full Atmos experience.

    Seems to be more a smart EQ thing for a lot of Atmos branded stuff than actual surround sound.

    The atmos label refers to the device's capabilities to decode atmos audio.

      Yeah but being able to decode it is very different to it actually working as intended on the device. Its like those projectors that say full HD but are actually only 720p. Like yeah technically HD but not really.

  When something like that happens, it's either because the device can run the specified resolution with an undesirablely low framerate or it still picture.
