[XB1] Cyberpunk Limited Edition Console: Claim Your Phantom Liberty Refund

Didn't think this was a common enough issue to warrant a full post, but for those of you who bought an Xbox One X Cyberpunk Limited Edition console, you should go and claim the refund for the Phantom Liberty expansion:

All you need to do is login to the account that you originally redeemed the game against, and you'll get $44.95 back in Microsoft Store credit to that account.

FWIW if you subsequently upgraded to an XSX (S or X) you'll find that you already "own" Phantom Liberty. Taking the refund doesn't seem to change that. I can confirm, having done it myself.

  edit: My CP2077 console is interstate and I won't have access to it until November so it looks like I may not be eligible

    You don't need to access your console to apply for the refund. I sold mine long time back.

    As long as you registered the game against a Microsoft account that you still have access to you can apply and claim it on that account.

      Interestingly, I did register it against my MS account on the CP2077 console but also installed it on a Series X that I purchased (since it ran so bad on the One X) - I've received the PL upgrade on the Series X but it's saying the rebate is not eligible on the link provided. Am going to install and run PL to see if that changes things (it seemed to work for someone at https://www.reddit.com/r/XboxSeriesX/comments/16tysxw/cyberp…).

      Of course, CP2077 being CP2077 it's crashing on startup on the Series X (lol), so just trying a reinstall first to get it to run
