Just saw a heap of these on a large table near the Lighting section at my local Bunnings store (Rocklea QLD). Not sure if they're anywhere else so please post if your local Bunnings has them too so others can benefit, thanks.

Cheap & cheerful and not my cuppa tea BUT may be exactly what you're after for yourself or your kids. Didn't manage to investigate if the table lamps were ceramic or plastic but at this price I'm sure that's not a dealbreaker anyway. Oh and of course neither style come with a bulb so you'll have to add that on top (ES Edison Screw from memory).

    Found a few table lamps reduced to $5 @ Oxley QLD Bunnings. Didn't see the desk lamps on sale (what I was after)
