I don't recommend them: my purchase from last week for the Amazon quilton 100% cash back hasn't tracked. I sent them a few messages on their website and inbox here and no response at all

    • All of my Pizza Hut transactions with TopCashback have tracked and I've made over 20 of them both on mobile browser and PC browser (Chrome). My last batch was only a few days ago and all tracked within 1-2 hours.

Amazon can have issues sometimes but Pizza Hut should be good to go.

      • +5

The problem with them is that support is noexistent in case of an issue with tracking. I did send a few missing transactions requests on their website and inbox messages here to the TopCashBack account and not any response

        • Sorry to hear. I'll let the rep know ASAP via PM so he can follow up with you @TopCashback AU Rep

          • +1

            @I Smell Pennies: thanks bud

          • @I Smell Pennies: I wouldn't recommend them until my non-tracked welcome offer gets approved. Now over a month and no action. My recommendation is not to make any purchase unless you are prepared for it to not be tracked and hoops run to get it honoured.

        • I can’t speak for support, but a missing cashback claim I made for the new member cologne deal from Father’s Day was paid back to me in full just recently. They do get back to you eventually, it just takes a while.

          • @EatSleepOzBargainRpt: I got mine too. I must probably be lucky. The item I ordered was out of stock, so, had to cancel, but, I can still see payout value of 29. And Chemist did send me an email for product review, so, I guess somehow they considered my order was complete.

        • Wish I saw your comments yestersay so I didn't sign up with them.

      • both on mobile browser and PC browser

paid with PayPal or credit card?

        • PayPal (I said this in the post description if you read it)

          • +1

@I Smell Pennies: I never use Paypal (long story - they don't like me!) and have had both my previous Pizza Hut purchases track perfectly fine with TCB.

            • @callum9999: No tracking here, used cc all last time for CR and it tracked properly. Well see how it goes something funny happens with TCB, may have recorded a blank visit as I had to start again.

TCB just create more work for everyone when their crap doesn't work.

              • @G-rig: Used Paypal. Tracked @$11 in few hours.

                • @INFIDEL: Well it said record visited then something happened and had to start the session again so who knows after that, will just have to put in a claim again or cancel this morning.

@Callum9999 maybe but they are nothing alike, an app would be much better, and CR tracks instantly usually. I use phone, turned off wifi (as I have a router ad blocker and Skynet), no other DNS etc. Pain having to chase up this shit with any of the cashbacks a lot of the time

Edit: showing $11 pending when I logged into the website just no email, so all good.

              • @G-rig: I'd be surprised if they aren't using the exact same system.

              • @G-rig: Happened to me too. After I finally got convinced to signup. FIist transaction didn't track, which never happened with CR and SB althlugh using the same device and payment method. Now have to spend more time and effort to claim then follow it up.

                • @luckylucky: Usually the way it goes.
I didn't receive an email, so may work differently. Did you log into the website and check? Mine said pending. With all of them it seems like got and miss lol, you could just not worry about it at all ha.

            • @callum9999: I used PayPal and failed to track. But always tracked almost instantly with CR (many times) and SB (a few times). Using the same device same payment method.

    • When i joined it, I hv issues with top ash too, No tracked, need to contact customer support add manual

    • I got the cashback from Amazon quilton 100% cash back deal

    • I've only made a few transactions via TopCashback and most tracked. The one that didn't I submitted a missing claim and it was approved so can't really fault that part of it but haven't had to use customer support yet

      • Was the one didn't get tracked Pizza Hut?

        • Nah chemist warehouse.

Pizza Hut has always tracked for me with all cashback providers except for one time with cashrewards but that was a while ago and they rapidly fixed it and paid out. Now cashrewards tracking is insanely fast and very reliable for me.

    • I avoided signing up to topcashback after reading a lot of negative comments on ozb. Signed up for this deal, bought pizza and it was tracked instantly. Pizza $13, cashback $21 in my account with referral bonus.

  • Can i schedule the order for lets say Wed ?

    • +1

      Yes

    • +1

      12 wings for $1 ☺️

      • which wings have the best flavour? seasoned, traditional, or spicy boneless?

        • +2

I’d always gone for the seasoned, don't know what ‘traditional’ entails. Generally I don’t trust boneless wings. Of all the flavours, I find the honey mustard to be quite refreshing, the green sauce just looked like poison, all the spicy ones are a bit overpowering so I get rid of the batter then put my own green chilli sauce on it.

          • @Alley Cat: Great I'm gonna go for seasoned no additional flavour

            • +1

@ivyholmes: You can order 2 different flavours and there’s no price difference. Try them all :)

              • @Alley Cat: I forgot I tried most of the flavours but end up not liking any :'( and i can warm it up the next day with air fryer without burn if it is unflavour lol

                • +1

@ivyholmes: 😂 I’m not a huge fan either, but I generally eat whatever food as long as I didn’t have to cook 😜 Good chilli sauce fixes everything anyway.

                  • @Alley Cat: Watching Korean movie Parasite on SBS.
They added a hot spicy Korean sauce🍕+🌶+ 🇰🇷

                    • @INFIDEL: Isn’t that a scary movie? 😖😣🫣 You want to be having the crazy hot Korean instant noodles, that way you get to feel the parasites inside of you struggling to cope with the heat 🤣

                      • @Alley Cat: Not scary, unless you are very, very wealthy!
Dark Comedy, Thriller about… Greed and class discrimination
                        Academy Award for Best Picture.

Interesting how a financially challenged family can use their street smarts to take over a very wealthy household, replacing all their staff with themselves.
Hence the film's title - Parasite!
No parasites were harmed in making the film!

Plenty of hot spicy sauce for tomorrow's pizza!
Have cartons of $1 Spicy Bibim Men Korean packet cold noodles with included spicy hot sauce😋

                        • @INFIDEL: Orly? I don’t know, I’ve got a low tolerance, rather watch comedy >_> That said, it does sound like an interesting plot.

Lol how did I miss that deal? I set a quota to only cry two to three times a week from eating spicy Korean foods, it’s probably a good thing 🤣

                          • @Alley Cat:

                            rather watch comedy

Academy Award Best Movie, Parasite is considered a Black Comedy, thriller. Love it.
                            Back to watching the movie🎬

Cold noodles are back on sale @Hanaromart (5 for $5.50, 20 for $20). Bought more a few days ago in Brissie. Love them cold in Summer.

                            • @INFIDEL: Ok, I’ll give it a go.

What is this Hanaromart? I just put the name in and there are so many lol Of course none on the coast. Is it like a brand-wide sale? I need to go to an HSBC so have to trip to brissy soon. I’ll see where it takes me, thanks.

                              • @Alley Cat: "Queensland No.1 Asian Grocery Supermarket" - mainly in Brisbane + Southport & Toowoomba.

Found in areas with population of Korean people. Stores opposite Woolies at Westfields near me.

Noticed expanding into c&c & local delivery. So stay tuned as they may open closer to you.

Bought carton of 20 @Westfield Carindale last week. Should be same price elsewhere - it's on their computer. But larger stores have more 20 packs in stock. Ask as often not displayed.

Commonly have 5 packs (currently $5.50). I checked price first at register.
Ringing store is only useful if you speak Korean.

                                • @INFIDEL: Wow you definitely Korea ;)

It surprised me how many Koreans are on the coast, giving the small Asian population. Could be the rural area points people came to score. It must be that QLD is a popular destination overall though. VIC feels more balanced, you get a bit of everything.

I shall go to Carindale then, too many options 🤯 and definitely do not speak Korean. The last k-drama I watched was so long ago, my love who from the star, after way too much peer pressure. I have dreamed in Korean tho if that counts lol That was so weird.

                                  • @Alley Cat: I don't speak or dream in Korean!
Am hopeless with languages other than English. But that never stops me on my many travels! Am more interested learning about people, cultures & food.

When I told a local (with Korean wife) about the noodles, he corrected me - "Should be Bi Bim Myon! Like with Bi bim bap, so the myon replaces bap (rice) as noodles… " Told him it's Bi Bim Men on the pack😉

Enjoyed the food & culture a lot on my trips there. However, spent over a year over many trips travelling in Japan.

Was surprised they have a store in more rural Toowoomba. Was told many Koreans work on farms nearby.

PM me before you come & I'll check the price & availability. Nearest store is 2k.

                                    • @INFIDEL: Languages are difficult until you have to learn to use it :D Go to the most remote little town where no one speaks English, you’d be guaranteed to level up so fast 😛 The only Korean word I know is bulgogi lol Haven’t had it for ages.

Japan has always been more relevant because of the manga and games. The raw tuna at the Tokyo fish market was divine, and the wagyu… I’m so hungry now.

Toowoomba has a big cow, that’s all I know, now I could also visit for some decent Korean restaurants thanks to you :)

I’ll probably do it soon, apparently the heat is coming back up, don’t want to be driving in a melting car. Will be in touch.

                                      • @Alley Cat: Accomplished travel writer, Bill Bryson was reported as saying he only knows 1 language - English. He doesn't see a problem with that in travels. He simply writes about what he experiences. Knowledge of the language would change the experience.

But those who learnt the local language, may criticise others for not spending so much time on it… "You HAVE to learn the language!" Sure if you intend living there.

I place emphasis on understanding, rather that the number of words known or tests passed

And in Japan, it's common for Japanese men to laugh about Foreigners use of the language. If a male has learnt his Japanese from his Japanese wife, he likely uses a female way of speaking. A great disgrace socially, so I'm told.

Sometimes spending time to get to know the local language, can stop people experiencing the country & culture.

For example, a University trained Japanese speaker I was with, when asking Japanese locals where to withdraw money, asked where the ATM was. WRONG! (That generally only works for those with Japanese bank accounts.)
She understood the language, but not the local customs! I asked the right question, with little language skills. My basic ungramatical question was understood, & we got the cash out.

My Japanese friend, a rice farmer in a village of 200, is also an English teacher. After a soak in the Onsen he told me I need to learn the language.
In a very un-Japanese response, I asked why. "So you can understand this". He pointed to the TV, showing animals recuperating after a time in a thermal spring. He was stunned I understood without knowing what was said…

Studied Social Psychology at Uni. Interesting with travel. I was trained in the techniques of a US specialist, who developed skills in communication without using words.
Although that wasn't my training, I rarely have problems over so many years travel in non English speaking countries.

Taught creativity classes - getting people to experience life through the eyes of a child.
Travelling with childlike wonder & curiosity seems well received on my travels. People "kidnap" me for a day in Japan, giving me a wonderful random experience of their culture.

On my travels, I've found people want to meet me. Have been given up to us$200 & paid for so many meals. I've realised it's because I am curious & respectful.
Strangely, if I was more self reliant & understood the language, they may not be so helpful, or have a reason to approach. That would be a loss.

Go to the most remote little town where no one speaks English, you’d be guaranteed to level up so fast

Done that many times - didn't work for me. Am often in areas where English isn't spoken for weeks.

In a remote Chinese mountain village, I was sold a used bus ticket to the next town.
I returned & complained to the guest house manager (looking up the Mandarin for Refund). Surprisingly one of the staff I had helped, supported me. Not a word of English was spoken. But when laying each note on the counter, I knew he was abusing me. I simply responded sweetly "Xièxiè / thank you"😄 Got my refund, which can be impossible as others have found in China.

Sometimes on travel its best not to know the language. It can be upsetting! Like the racists I met in England. If I hadn't understand, I would have been happier & less fearful. (I was fine.)

Some of my best & most memorable conversations, was when there was no language in common. We had to pay complete attention to the intent of the communication. A rare experience in our culture!

                                        • @INFIDEL: Hmmm I think it might depend on the culture, which heavily dictates the language. Asian cultures can to be very physical in nature compared to The West. You can see this in the arts. They are usually beautiful landscapes, portraits rarely portray emotions. When people are trained to think physically, it’s easy to communicate on a daily life basis because the topics tend to be concrete. If you were to venture into an abstract topic, you’d hit a wall. That might not be the case for ancient Egyptian, although considered a hieroglyphic language, the culture was also metaphysical, and you see an abundance of metaphysical symbols incorporated in the language. My guesses anyway :)

Travelling is fun especially if you do it solo and there’s no pressure on the schedule, provided you are able to stay safe. I’m glad you get to experience all the different things in life. Anyone can travel, but it takes certain personality to thoroughly enjoy it. Now that Covid restrictions are lifted, I’m sure you’d be off to somewhere soon!

                        • @INFIDEL: Check out the call on Netflix if you haven't already. Enjoy Korean movies as they aren't the same repetitive Hollywood crap:

                          https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10530176/?ref_=ext_shr

Bloodhounds is a great series too.

                          • @G-rig: There are so many. No Netflix for me - Rather be Travelling😉

Years ago I accidentally turned up in Busan during the Film Festival. (JeJu island was rained out☔)
Accommodation books out a year ahead. Luckily I knew a guy with rooms there. His place was full of international film critics.
Was given so many "Critics" tickets. So sat with other reviewers & attended q&a with directors & actors.
                            Very memorable👍

                            • @INFIDEL: That's cool.

So you watch sbs with a VPN when travelling?
7 bucks a month isn't much for NF but don't need to be glued to it.

It's cool how a lot of Korean movies are twisted and not always happy ones.

                              • @G-rig: twisted - It's not Hollywood!
Unexpected plot twists are what I enjoy. Says a lot about a culture that has & still experiences a lot of hardship.

Debt, rampant consumerism & gambling are major problems.
I learnt too much from my friend who was Korean Vice Consul in Sydney. Knew her as a brilliant undergrad studying here. It was her first job!

Cost isn't the issue. Only view a little local media when overseas, not SBS etc. I avoid too much streaming - life is much more interesting🤔

                                • @INFIDEL: Ok, yeah nice one been to ilsan and stuff.

agree if abroad then no need but good watching something decent without ads when you do want to.

Anyway that's enough on this thread :).

                                  • @G-rig: Didn't even watch my own appearance on Japanese TV. Only realised it was popular when so many locals recognised me in the street😉

Accommodation in S Korea usually came with big screen tv & hard drive full of local movies.

                                    • @INFIDEL: Sounds fun. Watching decent stuff isn't a bad way to unwind, funny I don't find sitting on the forums (telling everyone you're travelling that relaxing), haha

                                      • @G-rig: When travelling, I'm there for the unique experiences that can't be gained 3rd hand from edited videos.

So share meals with locals (organised a dinner for a Kyoto local dying of cancer), attend & join in at local festivals & events (like the Rakugo workshop in Japanese Traditional storytelling - my performance was unexpectedly shown on TV).
In Myanmar, attended the first International Writers Festival after censorship was lifted, met political leaders, & volunteered to train locals.

All totally unique & memorable experiences!

                                        • @INFIDEL: Yeah know, good to mix with the locals.
                                          Cheers,

                                          • @G-rig: Yes. Life seems a little mundane here!
Picking up my 52c large pizza tomorrow🍕🎉

                                            • @INFIDEL: Ha got one today. The chilli flakes are hotter than I expected and the Korean ones I got at home 🌶️🌶️😋

                                              • @G-rig: https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/275267/107134/20231009…

I mix these up with Masterfoods hot chilli sauce in a small (kfc mash small size) container and take it to my local independent pizza shop to use as the base sauce and a lil' bit on top, oh plus double jalepino.

                                                • @HopSkipJumpFallSplat: I'm a fan of hot sauce, usually a few dabs on top is enough. haven't opened the mega death but no. 10 is pretty hot.

                                                  • @G-rig: Havn't had the pleasure of Mega(550,000 SHU) or No. 10(Can't find it).
Ok kinda already had the pleasure, the Ultra is 1.1m SHU or there abouts.

                                                    • @HopSkipJumpFallSplat: Yeh no. 10s is cully's from NZ. Amazon have it had it, used to be a good price too. To be honest I prefer the taste of less hot sauces so you can still taste the food, Cholula and Byron bay sauces from the supermarket are nice (and much cheaper).

Some Korean food is fkn hot like daboki, most of the stuff is just all red with hot pepper powder and paste (gochujang), not the best flavours just hot lol.

                                                • @HopSkipJumpFallSplat: Feel Alive🔥
But I do still want to enjoy the taste of the pizza!
Adding Korean hot sauce to mine. (Based on scene in Parasite movie.) Won't be as hot
