  The straw is impossible to clean. We had mould build up. Would only suggest you out water only and no other liquids since you can't clean the straw.

    I use a very thin straw brush which works. It definitely gets mouldy if you leave it full of water.
    You can buy replacement straws (also on sale now)

      And the replacement straws come with the brush cleaner. Been using these for 2 1/2 years with no mould though have replaced the straws when they became broken (maybe every 6 months).

    There are super small straw cleaners. I think we got a pack from somewhere and use the smallest in there. Not sure where from, but without them the straws get super gross!
