  • the internet is better

  • smh.com.au you'll thank me later

  • This deal works out at $88.92 for 26 weeks. As a continuing subscriber I just paid $79.90 for four issues a week (Friday to Monday)- plus 7 day digital access.

    • Pray tell how you did this. My subscription ended recently and I was not offered anything other the standard subscription.

      • I was sent a reminder through the mail. $79.90 for 6 months for 4 issues a week plus 7 day digital access.
Renewed online - https://subscriptions.fairfax.com.au/landing/SMH/smh_subscri… - using my subscriber number etc.
I do know the time before last I let the subscription lapse for a couple of months but was still able to renew online for $79.90 despite advertised subscription prices increasing somewhat. :-)

  • does this also work for Melbourne? i tried and couldn't ??

    • Does not look like it. "Entry [to the competition] is open to all residents of NSW, ACT and QLD. " So I'm guessing the subscription offer is also restricted to those states and territory.
