Thats a good deal - thanks OP (mine shows original burger combo)

    • +15

That's by default, if you go into the offer you can change it to a zinger burger.

  • -5

    targeted

    • +2

I just created a new account to test this and the offer is there so I don't think it's targeted.

      • Did you get any other offers?

I created a new account a while back and got like 20% off.

        • +1

2 for $2.95 Wicked Wings, 3 for $2.95 Nuggets and a Family Burger Deal.

      New $2.95 Regular Chips

      Hmmm…..

      Hard choice…..

    • Does this table show all concurrent offers currently running in the app, or is there a time period for each promo in each row in the table?

  • +2

I have Buy One Get One Free Burger Combo for $11.45.

    • +4

Everyone should have it. It’s not a targeted deal. The targeted ones have a “KFC FOR YOU” label.

      • It is targeted to the majority, I and some other don't have it

    • Yes, that's what this deal is. Enjoy :)

      • +1

I don’t know why OP only mentioned Zinger Burger.

    • Same. And you know what's dumb? The bogof for large is $16.45. How is that even bogof, they're charging full price for the upgrade! I'm beyond outraged.

      • +1

Yep, very dumb that the "buy one get one free" doesn't apply to the upsize. $5 extra for the 2x upsize fees is poor form, especially when large chips are currently $2.95.

Bloody inflation though! 10 years ago you could get a regular size ultimate burger meal for $9.95, normal price!

  • +2

Does Jimothy approve, is this good value?

    • +3

@Jimothy Wongingtons is busy making sure all his KFC accounts received the offer.

      • +3

contrary to popular belief i only have 1 kfc account, same with maccas and HJ's - i just cbf stuffing around with multiple accounts.

    • +7

great deal but lets be frank - gonna need at least two meals to be even remotely full with the size of the zinger burgers these days and the approximately 10 chips you get in a 'regular' chips these days.

america is on the right track with the half gallon/ gallon soda sizes imo

  • I cant see the deal on my app, would it be under Promos?

    • -2

      Look harder.

    • It's not available at all locations. Not showing up for me when selecting KFC Subiaco but changing to a nearby KFC shows it.

    • +1

Yeah, looks like us South Aussies do not get these deals. We have the hot rods deals starting today instead.

      • I don't see it (SA). I have a family burger deal (4 zingers, 2 chips, 6 wicked wings - no drinks $25)

*edit - changed to Melb store and could see it. Added to cart, changed back to local store.. no dice, error and removes it.

        Op @brandogs - Doesn't include SA

  • +2

Got me excited.. thought its 11.45 for four burgers.. one can only wish.. ^_^

  • NO DEAL! can get 2 with 2 sides $15.90 (2 ultimate combo's, regularly on the app) So literally without them this is the price normally it would be, nothing special about it.

P.S when you buy large fries, open it at the counter straight away, shake it 5 times and see it shrink to small fries, while at it show it to the worker and say to fill it up. If you bought large, you should get large.

    • These are $9.95 in my app, so $19.90 for two. Therefore paying $8.45 (74%) more for the 2 extra sides.
Seems you have a different Ultimate Combo deal for $7.95, which others don't have.

  • +1

Don't have this deal on my app

  • +2

HODL…. KFC has priced themselves out of the market so expect more price decreases if people don't buy.

Local chicken shop is whole chicken, gravy, peas, 2 salads and family chips (5 kfc large chips)for $36.95

    • -2

      Local chicken shop is $36.95

Wow, I usually pay around $6 for a whole roast chook.

      • That must be a tiny chook! $5.50 kg at Coles now for whole chicken. Best size I've found is around 1.9kg.

        • Just the std roast chooks at Coles.

          • +4

            @jv:

            std roast chooks

I prefer disease free roast chooks.

            • @indented: They're $6 4 hours after cooking.

              • @jv: Lucky you. I think i have seen them discounted maybe 3 times in 4 years across our local coles/woollies.

                • @Xizor:

                  Lucky you.

                  It's their policy.

                  • @jv: If that time is followed they either dump them or put aside for staff to take rather than customers.

                    • @Xizor: Nah, our's just discounts them.

You can check the time and if it's past 4 hours, you can ask them to discount and they will.

  • So pretty much the regular pricing from before? What a deal /s

  • +6

In SA I only have hot rods and $4.95 hot rod box. No $2.95 chips or this 2 4 1

    • WTF is a hot rod??? A long nugget?

  • +1

Date night to sorted. No one can resist the Zinger burger.

  • +1

NOT AVAIL IN SA on My App!! …. Buy One Get One Free Zinger Burger Combo $11.45 @ KFC (App & Pickup Only) :(

  • That was a tasty bargain. Done and done. Upvote!

  • Lunch for an ozbargainer sorted.

  • +1

Zinger or double tender patties. Which is worth more?

    • +1

Zinger tastes better, double tender in terms of calories though

  • +1

I just wish that when i buy fast food.
It looked like the pictures for once.
Including having all my chips the same way .😟😟

  • Mine stated zinger unavailable:(

  • Hi someone might of asked but for 241 what do put I. Quantity just 1 then they automatically add the second one.

It also seems that 3-4 quantity therefore getting 6 - 8 meals

    • You gotta make sure you pick the BOGOF under promos & rewards, you can then select 2 x burger, 2 x side, 2 x drink.

      • So if I do that it will still come as $11.45.

        • -1

          A zinger combo meal is 1 x burger, 1 x side, 1 x drink for $11.45.

          With this promo, you get 2 x burger, 2 x side, 2 x drink for $11.45.

          • @CodeXD: Yes CodeXD I am an idiot, I understand now.

I wonder if you can reorder multiple times with same account?

  • If I put 2 in quantity it charges me 2 lots $22.90.

Unless they give me another 2 lots free???

  • Pretty good value.
    Really dont like drinks/chips
whats the best burger or wrap + popcorn chicken or tenders mix.
Need to play more with these hacks

  • Such a shame that I am next to a KFC that is rated so bad…and rightfully so. The chips are 85% to be cooked wrong and stale. The tactic to use is ordering without salt. That way, it will have to be a fresh batch (unless they rush it and not cook it right…sigh).

    • No you NEVER go without the salt. Terrible comment.

      • You don't own salt at home?

        • It's just not the same. KFC use onion salt which is vastly superior to the average salt people have at home.

Some people also eat in store too.

          • -1

@CodeXD: I have chicken salt or garlic salt. The point being is even after all the reviews calling them out on it, they don't care. If I drive to the second nearest KFC, no issues at all. That is why I dread such good deals when buying from my local one.

            • @samkenny: If a place is consistently bad, I definitely won't keep going, especially if they remain the same after providing feedback. I assume you're letting them know after every bad experience? That is the only way they'll change.

            • @samkenny: Crap KFC is the work of the devil - maintain the rage.

  • $12.45 at my local

Normally these features offers are same price as ones posted on OzB. But a whole dollar more now

Zinger burger meal is $12.45 for the burger and chips and drink only
$7.95 for the ultimate burger meal

(Last night's ultimate burger deal was super tiny, it's absolutely the smallest burger I've ever had from KFC)

    • Apparently you Spending2Much

  • Family burger deal at $25 is a better buy in my opinion. 4x burger, 6x wicked wings and 2x large sides.

    • $27.95 at my local for the family burger deal

  • strangely the deal only appears on my iphone, but not my android. Same account

    • +2

Is the store you have selected on android open?

      • Yup.

Now that I'm looking at my IP, it seems to be missing a few other offers too. Not just this one

      • Oh wait, I think you're onto something.

I cleared my cart and swapped from delivery to pick up. The deals started popping up afterwards

  • -1

    Noice.

  • -3

Not available in Vic either. None of my local stores have it. Have some other deal (double tender burger, tender, chips, gravy and dinner roll for 6.95)

    • It is under promos & rewards

      BUY ONE, GET ONE FREE

I can see it for KFC Elizabeth Street, Melb

      • -1
        • +1

Your first comment said it is not available in Vic, and I confirmed that it is available for a store in Vic.

You never provided a location and just had a blanket statement.

  • +1

    why no SA

  • Man, Everytime i see a zinger deal, i still remember that 2 zingers for $5.95? or something deal, That was the best. I wish i had bought more zingers back then, Only used it like twice :(

  • -1

Thanks! Changed one of the chips to potato and gravy, and one of the drinks to a bottle of water (for later) and ate the whole meal myself. Basically an ultimate box.

  • This is the new zinger box since they went to $15.

  • Gutted deal is gone in WA, replaced by Go bucket and Freeze for $5. Used 3 times no dice today

    • +1

Just came to check this post again….
Couldn't see it on my app after being keen to go get a double up of burgers today to find out it's gone….

      • Changed store and it’s working. Guess it’s been temporarily abused too much at one location lol

    • Deal has also disappeared from my app, however it is still showing if I log in online via their website.

      • I just had it for dinner, its at the end of the promo list now

        • Yep now showing at the end of the list on my app too. I doubt they would pull this promo early. They have ads on the radio promoting it (possibly tv ads too) and have advertised it on their social media.

  • Ultimate burger combo is 7.95
how does buy one get one free, (with no added potato and gravy) equal 11.45 ?

    • Ultimate burger combo is 7.95

      $9.95 on my end

      • It's now $9.95 on the app, standard pricing
