There is a separate post about the new SE variety (no sub) today.

As an owner of the V2X, I had a quick google and was impressed to see it at this price.

I cannot speak highly enough of this device, however I know people aren't the bigest fans of computer soundbars.

Great find. Been chasing one for ages at a decent price. Do you use this with a separate soundcard or use onboard sound?

  You'd use either USB or hdmi arc, which would bypass your onboard sound and use what's in the bar.

Keep in mind, the review you posted is for the V2 not the V2X, the differences are below.

Katana V2: 6.5" Sub Driver / 126W RMS (252W Peak) system power
Katana V2X: 5.25" Sub Driver / 90W RMS (180W Peak) system power

I am one of these people who have actually bought this soundbar 2 weeks ago and is not a fan. send PM if you want this at a steep discount (I couldn't return it), bought from CentreCom.
