Canada Working Holiday Biometrics

I am looking at doing a working holiday in Canada for a year. I have prepared all my documents except for my biometrics, the biometrics must be done at a Canadian approved Visa Application Centre (VAC).

However, there are only two VACs in Australia, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne. As someone living in QLD, is my only option to fly to Melbourne or Sydney to get this done? Does anybody have any experience with this?

    There is also one in Perth, which is sort-of-Australia :-)

    Sounds like similar issues with a visa to China.

    Visa application centres (VACs) are private companies that have formal contracts with the Government of Canada.

    VFS Global is the exclusive service provider for the Government of Canada, authorized to provide administrative support services to visa applicants in Australia
