Bought a pair of Adidas shoes online, turned up with low quality finishing like glues around the edges, inner sole not glued in properly. Not visually appealing. Then I returned it back. So yesterday I went to the store to buy a pair of runners so that I could physically see what I'm buying. All of the shoes have the same issue. You can see glues around the corners, little unglued missed spots and all that. Anyway I purchased a pair with "minimum glue lines". Tried it alright, brought it home to show it to my friends. Noticed that the inner sole is not intact.
I have a pair of Adidas from 5 years ago, which is still going strong. The only difference is the old ones were Made in Vietnam and the new ones are Made in Indonesia.
Is this the reason why their quality is so poor lately?
Side Note: Adidas at Harbour Town, Adelaide has 50% off on all items including already reduced items. Similarly Under Armour has 30% on Footwear. Puma has 40% on all items/Footwear?? In store only I guess. I couldn't find a right size for me but I'd have gone with UA.
Anyway if you want to knock yourself with one, Adidas store at Habour Town has 50% off on all items including already discounted items.
