Amazon Prime Renewal - paying with gift card

Hi, my prime membership expires in a couple of days.
I have enough on my gift card balance, I have tried to see if there's a way to use the balance but seems not.
Anyone else had success using the balance of an Amazon gift card?

    No, afaik you cannot pay for Amazon Prime using the Amazon gift card.
    Needs to be paid separately - check out your cc for incentives.

    Does it make a difference if you'll order more than the gift card balance in the next 12 months? Unless you broke atm and need the money.

    Does Amazon normally give you a promo deal if you cancel your subs to keep you in ?

      I haven't seen it before. I think if they did, everyone would just cancel before the expiry. If you cancel it still runs to the expiry date, so give it a try.

      I know this is ozbargain but it is cheap enough as it is.
