I love stationery. This 849 is iconic. The refills are super expensive though. This pen might be even cheaper than buying the refill itself when buying from local bricks-and-mortar stores.

  What do you do with old but unused stationery? I used to always buy them because I love these, especially the Japanese ones. There is a box full of this stuff I don’t use. At one stage I tried to give them to a recycling company, but they were charging $10 a kilo because they manually test all the pens and pencils to make sure they work. Don’t remember what happened to that story in the end, I still have quite a lot of pens. Do I just store them until next century to sell as antique communication devices?

    Try Facebook marketplace. Someone will take them off your hands and make some use of them.
