What's The Best Samsung phone or JB Deal Currently for $500

Hi guys, Ive spent a couple hours going through all the Samsung deals and JB deals but I'm very confused as many of the deals have changed or been removed and the pricing is all over the place.

I'm just wanting to know, as of 29/09/23, what's the best deal on any of the high end Samsung phones.

Based on the deals, I applied and received the 10% loyalty discount, $100 off via chat and the $50 newsletter.

I do have an old S8+ to trade in if required but I read we can trade in $1 wired earphones or something to that effect.

Based on this info, what deal should I get. The most id like to be out of pocket is around $500 but could stretch a little if needed.

Sorry if this has been answered but trawling pages from the deals had become confusing and now I just need an answer.

    S8+ is 6 years old. You can buy 'new' dead stock of this for ~$250, which means yours will be worth peanuts (if anything at all). Don't bother trading in, just keep it of the memories/backup. Due to price creep, you won't find any 'high end' Samsung for $500 anymore. You should keep an eye on alerts If you have those discounted ultimate gift cards, use them during JB sale.

      The s23 was going for out of pocket cost of $339 or thereabouts last week with the $1 earphones trade in.

      Just trying to find some sneaky deal like this but I might have missed out.

        That was with a targetted $500 trade in which alot of people didn't get the email..

    There aren't any good deals on the S series right now. S21 new on ebay is around $510 if you need silly features like wireless charging. Or if you need a more modern phone get an A54 for $550.

    2023 upper midrange phones like the A54 are way better than your Samsung S8. The features they are missing like wireless charging are not that important for 99% of users.

    Pixel 7a is also worth a look.
