  I know this is a different scale and price point but imo this kit’s bang-for-bucks value is much higher than the sub $20 HG kits we’ve been seeing.
  Easier to build than your standard MG, not as fiddly as RG, bigger scale and heaps more details than HG. I thought it was decent at $50-60 but at $40 it’s a no brainer.
  I bought and built a bunch of cheap new HGs recently but if I had my time and cash again I’d rather rebuild this.

    My understanding is that the HGs from Witch of Mercury line is pretty good and better than the previous HGs? I don't have any personal experience, so I'm only basing this from youtube reviews.

      I’ve built those.
      Specifically, I’ve built HG Aerial rebuild, Mercury Beguir Pente, Michaelis, Zowort, Lfrith Thorn. All of which I picked up pretty cheap.
      I thought they were ok, better than the older HG kits, but once I started in FM Aerial it was like “Whoa, this kit for $50?” (granted I paid $58 for my first one, picked up another for $39).
      And it wasn’t finicky like RG or the older MG stuff, just overall fun to put together.
      Personally, I’ll take one FM Aerial over 3 HG kits any day.
