Anyone out here in OzBargain that can help me to select the good bargain, and safe hotel for my family to stay for 3 nights in November.
We definitely would want to visit Dsney World and we are not into nightouts.

Depends how long you are staying. Usually places have discounts when you stay 7 nights or longer
I went to Dorsett Mongkok, priced decently and in a good location close to 2x MTR stations on 2 different lines (8 and 10 Min walk)
cheaper not to stay in western touristy areas such as Wanchai or Central. Maybe consider TST or nearby.
When I satay in Central I stay at Wharney, they usually provide good value
I have stayed several times at Hotel Mini Causeway Bay. Great location with lots to do nearby. The rooms are small and basic, but clean and modern decor. Very cheap around AUD 70 a night for a double. The mattress is quite firm, like a futon, but I like that. Make sure you get one of the better rooms, and one with a window.

How do you book the same? Directly or from any web? Good with kids?
The prices vary a lot depending on your dates and where you book. Weekends are more expensive. You can book directly with hotel which is sometimes cheaper. I just wait for a cheap price to come up. The rooms are small and narrow, just enough room for two, double or twin beds. There are nice common lounges you can use with coffee machines. Don't know about kids, they would need separate room. Will you be out most of the time? How old are the kids?
