Citibank Luxury Car Transfer Service

Anybody used this service before?

I've been quoted an amount outside of what's in the terms and conditions since they have to upgrade the car.

When I asked them about this, they've said the terms and conditions haven't been updated to reflect it. The thing is the terms and conditions were recently updated and new rates were meant to be from 1 June. They also sent through Hughes website to show that only the upgrade will fit 4 people despite the citibank terms and conditions.

What should I do? Legally shouldn't the terms and conditions be honoured?

'Please note for the Luxury Transfer Service, the
kilometre rates have been updated and are effective 1 June – 31 December 2023. This means any luxury
transfers from 1 June 2023 will be subject to the new rates as outlined below.'

    I used Hughes earlier this year to go to the airport and paid extra for the luxury sedan option. The website shows Audi, BMW and Mercedes but guess what car showed up? A Great Wall SUV. They refunded the extra I paid after leaving a Google review but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. The car was nice enough inside but as I said to Hughes, no sane person considers a chinese SUV as a luxury vehicle lol.

      So their current terms and conditions say SUV can sit 4 people which is what I requested.

      They then said that only a People Mover will fit 4 people now and SUV can only fit 3 people.

      That was the reason they 'upgraded'.

        Not sure about the number of bags you have but I think we would be talking about $10 or $15 extra here!

          It's an extra $15 out of pocket which still isn't bad but their terms and conditions don't reflect the fact that SUVs cannot fit 4 people.

      Haven’t used Uberblack; and this Luxury Transfer service might be more expensive but the Merc people mover was nice.
      The type of vehicle was based on the number of passengers and accompanying luggages.
