    8 x AA batteries

    that hurts..

    • Brutal. Thought it’s rechargeable. What’s the best fully rechargeable alternative?

The car is rechargeable. Transmitter takes the AA’s…not unusual even in hobby grade stuff. Most likely NiMH rechargeable will work in the transmitter, though that’s not a given.

Sometimes a transmitter can take a LiPo pack, but would not expect it in a packaged transmitter.

        Nice looking kit.

      • Banggood and their Wltoys? again transmitter is 4x AA though

      • You can use rechargable AA batteries in the remote. It has a charge port to plug in a charger.

  • Bought one for the kids few years ago, fast but VERY breakable. I still have the full size one which is also flimsy but have upgraded a lot of parts to aluminium.
They’re are good but be prepared to buy lots of replacement parts especially the control arms

  • Its not Li ion batteries for anyone is wondering.
    “ The supplied powerful 7.2V 1100mAh Ni-MH Battery”

    • Fyi you can usually replace with 2s lipo of same dimensions - you might need an adapter for the connector, and a low voltage alarm. The lighter load can make nimh cars gun pretty hard (i used to fix up toy cars from the side of the road with lipos for my kids).
