Advice for Mobile Sim for 5 Week Travel England, Europe and USA

hi,

a family member is heading OS in a few months for ~ 5 weeks for work.

rough itinerary:
UK for ~3 weeks
Europe ~1 week
USA ~1 week

needing a sim so they can make daily calls back to Oz.

massive data not a priority - will primarily rely on hotel and public wifi

will be using an iphone 14.

wanting to organise sim cards prior to leaving as buying them there is not an often.

what do people suggest (in bargain terms) for mobile phone coverage to cover this travel?

Lebara Mobile have some good plans with EU roaming and international minutes to Australia.
But not compatible with the USA - I think you'll find very few UK Sims that will. Probably best just to grab something at the airport

If you have a Felix mobile plan already, there's roaming for $20. Lasts for 365 days, includes 4GB of data and covers a lot of countries.

Second Lebara mobile for the UK, just came back from 6 months there and Lebara was the best value and comes with EU roaming. In regards to calls just use Whatsapp or FB messenger and you have unlimted calls as long as you have data.
Can't recommend anything for the US.
