No BT or solar, but I like the colour and it'd make a good donor for modding.
Cheapest here is $199

Thanks, bought every colour
Are you serious? Please seek help for your watch buying addiction.
lol no. i haven't bought a watch for almost a week
@rosebank: Make the next watch a skmei robot watch just for lols
@Jimothy Wongingtons: link?
@rosebank: Here you go mate:
https://timeandtidewatches.com/seiko-presage-irori-moments-s…
(1000 pieces, A$950)
@G-rig: Oh my, now that's quite something
@G-rig: Interesting dial, and collab with Lark. Might buy if on sale, but not for $900
@rosebank: Agree, it's too much and being an Aus release it won't be cheaper in Japan
Anyway like all Seiko hopefully pay around 60pc but this time is actually pretty limited.
I'd be keen to know your experiences. I bought an SKMEI watch a few years ago, and could never rely on the time being correct.
I haven't bought one in years (Skmei 1134) but it's still working great.
Best to read the reviews on Aliexpress and comments on YouTube.
@WatchNerd: Good advice, thank you.
I was convinced by one of the reviews…
IM SO SURPRISED BECAUSE THATS THE BEST THING I BUYED IN MY LIFE

Things I dislike about this watch:
- Date format is in US MMDD format
- Week starts on Sunday (I prefer Monday)
Otherwise an excellent watch
A week starts on a sunday. Have you not seen the chaos and damage that is caused by messing with the time-line?
No one in Aus considers the start of the week as Sunday..
You can change it easily on most calendars, my outlook says Monday
- Date format is in US MMDD format
- Week starts on Sunday (I prefer Monday)
Yeah, that's 95% of Casio watches. There have been a miniscule amount of models produced in Casio's history that allowed the switching of the date format from US notation to DD/MM/YY but they have been very far and few between.
I don't know of any Casio watches that have allowed users to manually specify the starting day of the week.
Despite being a Japanese corporation, Casio is extremely US-oriented in their product design/marketing as the US is their largest market, so they opt to use whatever timekeeping standards/preferences the Americans use (Sunday has always been the traditional starting day of the week in the US).
Just got to do your research.
Both of my G-Shock modules are Aus DD-MM and Bluetooth. The Casio watches app is great and keeps them in sync. Better applying settings too than pressing all the buttons for ages.
I'm not buying more two is enough.
I think Casio might be offering region-specific date formats more frequently on their newer modules (especially those with the smartphone link feature) but historically, MM-DD and Sunday being the start day was the norm; anything else was the exception to the rule.
Which G-Shocks do you have?
yellow GAB2100C-9A Bluetooth Solar CasiOak ($160)
GW-B560OMG (bit hard to find, black and green Camo, city beach had one).
@G-rig: Yeah both of those models have the smartphone link feature, which I think automatically adjusts the date format on the watch depending on your region (I never actually bother using that on my G-Shocks).
Before Casio came up with the smartphone link feature, almost all of their watches used the US date format regardless of the region they were shipped to/sold in, hence why this GA-2100RC-1 (which doesn't have the BT/smartphone link) uses the US date format as well.
@Miami Mall Alien: Yes it's pretty good and doesn't use much phone battery running in the backgound. Sync time 4 times a day - I jsut leave BT on all the time these days.
Used to be two different apps which was a pain (shock connect), now both watches are in Casio Watches app so pretty tidy.
Good colour! Fairly recent one too (April 2023)
I would have because of the colour but I already have enough GA2100's.. 😅
Just noticed this one is $144.99 via Bondi Shades on Amazon.
seeing 155.99?
You're replying to a 1 month old comment. Sales don't last forever.
that'll do it!
@SwarleyAUS: This seems ok if you're still looking. Use code in this post.
CasiOak GA-2100-1A… $150.00 - 10%
@WatchNerd: Isn't black fri aroun the corner?
Have seen the $2100 for about $120-150.
Mate got a blue/white one from watch depot recently (but perhaps it was $199-20)
Got a yellow bluetooth & solar one for $160 DJ that time (GAB2100C-9A,further 30% off).
Seeing 180.61? picked this one (https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B07YCTCMFK) up for 145.99 instead
Great colour.
