    Pretty good discounts.

Worth noting that all 4 PS5 titles are on PS+ Extra for those that aren't physical disc collectors.

The pricing for PlayStation games this gen is crazy. I don't think Ratchet has ever dropped below $49

    • Agreed, im still going to hodl, surely they will eventually have to drop to $20-$30.

+1 Im in the unique position to own an xbox series x and PS5 (likely about to sell the XB). The XB i have 4yrs of an ultimate games library that is pretty average (inc. Starfield cough cough), and then the PS5 that I own 2-3 games because games are priced so high.

Quality vs quantity (i dont like either)… maybe im getting too old for gaming 😅

That is not a unique position haha.

        • Oh i feel pretty lucky anyway.

    • Right. I've got so many games tracked on psprices and check here all the time, that I can't cop paying full whack. There's actually been a few of those games that end up free on the budget PS sub whatever they call it these days.

    • wait till black Friday, i am sure it will be $39 or lower

rant on these prices: I've said this before, but what annoys me most about PS5 is how Sony are price-gating performance and quality upgrades of their products with half-baked "remasters" or basically giving you access to the original quality textures and unlocking 60 FPS.

So you have Uncharted here, Death Stranding Director's (also on "sale"), the new new Last of Us Remaster all $30 or more, when most people probably picked up these games new or, like me, as part of PS4 classics.

I know it's not zero work to make an old game current-gen, but Xbox have basically done it for free on 99% of games, even games that the publishers didn't personally upgrade (i.e. Microsoft did the work).

I've owned both PS and XB the past two generations and Sony just feels so anti-consumer this generation. Smart Delivery on Xbox is so much better than trying to figure out which version Sony game to buy, and Quick Resume is the duck's nuts. So disappointed in Sony.

Not to mention the Play Store is absolute cancer if you ever try to get a refund off them. The amount of hoops I've had to jump through to attempt to refund a crashing copy of Payday 3 is phenomenal. Very anti-consumer, lesson learnt: don't buy off the Play Store if you can help it.

    • 100% agree. I feel like Microsoft/xbox need to lift their quality of game and tbh, charge more ( i have like 4yrs of ultimate… haha) and then Sony need to loosen their chock hold on games and prices.

    • Tell me you're an trashbox fanboy without telling me

    • The Last of Us is a remake not a remaster

    • If you own Uncharted or Death Stranding you can pay $15 to get the PS5 upgrade

    • Microsoft is objectively more anti-consumer this gen. Having little to no exclusives, an outdated controller that still uses AA batteries and proprietary SSD storage that costs a fortune compared to Sony's solution.

  • HODL till free

  • some PS4 games on sale. Miles Morales on sale for $39.

BTW this is a complimentary PS5 upgrade game, so you can get the PS4 and PS5 versions included if you pick up the PS4 version, does NOT apply backwards, ie if you buy the PS5 disc, you cannot play it on a PS4 in any capacity.
